I noticed the tenor of Red Pill had changed since I last checked in several years ago. I like it. Especially the emphasis on squashing this rediculous notion endlessly talking (communicating) will make a good relationship. "Communication" isn't a substitute for chemistry. Be real. Know who you are. Be confident. Don't be a jerk.

Women have always worked. Before the invention of modern appliances staying home was A LOT of work. When you start thinking of a world without refrigerators, microwaves, washing machines, dryers, etc. the job of the "stay at home mom," isn't so pleasant. The image of the 50's housewife meeting her man with a drink at the door and throwing dinner parties was an anomaly. It was a weird time where large numbers of average women were still staying at home, but the job was suddenly much easier and in…

It's possible she doesn't want a relationship, in which case you're acting right. I realize it goes against every stereotype, but women who don't want an LTR do in fact exist.

I don't know. Parents are getting more balanced and creative with co-parenting and less adversarial. Women are figuring out having the kids the vast majority of the time isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially if they work and make their own money, and men are less willing to settle for every other weekend and six weeks in the summer. I come from exmormon. A lot of us end up divorced after one or both leaves the church. Women (myself included) often don't want the kids 271 days out of the ye…

I prefer don't ask, don't tell. Respect me enough not to do it with someone in a time and place where I'll easily have to find out and I won't look at your phone or snoop. Same goes for me. I don't like open relationships, because they always seem to have so many rules and assume both partners are interested in having extra-marital sex at the same time. Usually one person does and the other has to be convinced. They'll pursue other partner's so everything is "fair." It's stupid. The other person…

Sounds like my ex and I except I pay child support. We live across the street from one another. He has a younger girlfriend. I'm happy to do my own thing. Relationships are too much fucking work. Maybe when I'm retired. The great thing is, these days it's pretty easy to get very close to a 50/50 residential split. One of the biggest factors in determining how much support the non-custodial parent pays is the schedule. Respective budgets of each household and income of each parent are also part o…

When did "I feel like" become the common place in society? This is funny. Women have historically said "I feel like," because they lack confidence. They usually mean "I think," they just don't phrase it that way, because "I feel like," is less challenging to a man's "I know" or "I think." I haven't noticed this trend, but if true, then it would seem men are adopting women's phraseology. I work really hard not to say "I feel," but I still do it ALL THE TIME! I annoy myself.

Would there also be a questionnaire to grant consent to particular sexual activities or does giving consent mean the dude can do whatever he wants? Just curious.

Rape should be treated as assault, because that's what it is. It's assault of the vagina, not necessarily a very extra special assault. By treating it as such we are reinforcing for the victim that it is this terrible life altering thing that is shameful and has to be hidden. Go get a rape kit and prosecute the guy for assault, because that's what it is. Treating sex differently for women than for men is what makes rape so traumatic for the victim. This would hold true for male victims of rape a…

As a feminist this really really bothers me. I also don't like the concept that at a very advanced point in the encounter a woman can decide not to and it's rape. I mean, it's wrong, but if you''re already in the act that is a tall order to stop. I am sure it is difficult to draw lines, but women also need to be held accountable and if the male is also intoxicated than that should matter as well. If her blood alcohol is bordering on unconscious and his is such he can still legally drive, then ye…
