I've read there are high rates of paraphilia among autistic people as well Interesting. Will now hit research mode. This is why I love Reddit, someone always knows something you haven't thought of.

At first I thought "25k, are you mad?" Then I saw they both earn over 100k. That's a reasonable ring cost in that earning bracket. He's being cheap. Having said that I got engaged at 17 and was given my mum's old engagement ring. But he was still in school, and neither of us had a penny to spare It's all about proportion to income really.

Yeah, never get involved with someone with a fetish. It's a symptom of something being "off" about their brain function, and it rarely stops at one. You can develop them if you have brain damage, so it's not unreasonable to think some kind of subtle brain damage is involved with paraphilias in general.

Can't speak as to this study, but I know about paraphilias (fetishes). If you've got one paraphilia (foot fetish, rape, cross dressing, furry) the odds are that upon exposure to novel sexual stimuli you'll develop a new one for one of the new stimuli. Pedophilia is a paraphilia. Short version, if you have a fetish you are very likely to end up as a pedophile if exposed to CP.

This is also why women, especially women of color, are denied pain medication, blood tests or scans they ask for, treatment of endometriosis A: race complicates this because a lot of people have issues accurately picking up pain signals from people of other races. Black doctors have the same issue with white and Asian patients Asians with non Asian and so on. Women normally regret casual sex. Men rarely do: it's in their interest to promote casual sex as a societal norm, not ours. There's also the long list of STDs you can catch, the risk of picking up an violent asshole. The sex will probably suck. The risk of unplanned pregnancy, and abortions are getting harder to get. Just nah. Save it for someone you want to be with long term. As my mother said to me, "only let a guy fuck you if you are happy to have his baby".

Yeah I'm married, have been for decades. Grown up kids. Inceldom was never a thing for me. I think what's triggering them is they are pretty desperate, and we are telling other women not to put out for guys like the average Redditor.

They’re obsessed with painting FDS in a bad light to try and prevent for more women to realise that they deserve better. The average Redditor is a twenty something basement dwelling male with hygiene issues. We are literally encouraging young women not to give them the time of day. And it's making them pissy.

If he's in his thirties or older and single the odds are he's one or more of the following: Immature AF Charmless Cheats a lot Criminal Abusive Can't hold down a job Has substance use issues. When women are asked to rank photos of men in terms of attractiveness, they estimate that roughly 20 percent of men are above average attractive. So most women also estimate that 80 percent of men are below average. In reality, it will come closer to thousands of approach attempts for the average man. Urgh, this again! Women don't judge attractiveness the same way men do, which is almost entirely visually. We need to see movement and listen to speech to be able to "grade" a guy. Men are (as a ru…

Men, specifically privileged white men, seem to be becoming more and more radicalized against women's progress as well as racial progress. Two things: let's start with the racism. CRT and to an extent radical feminism blames white patriarchy for absolutely everything that goes wrong, and the men (and some actual scientists) are a bit sick of it. Because not everything is their fault. So much that comes out of CRT is utter bullshit, and simply questioning CRT claims gets labelled a hate crime. Fo…

About 1/3 of men have committed a sex offence. Every time I post this stat (complete with the multiple studies) on Reddit or gets mass down voted by men claiming it's all bullshit made up by radical feminists, and the questions include things like being whistled at. The modal lifetime number of sexual partners for a woman is about three. Has been the same since the sixties. What is different is the average has gone up a bit because a small number of women have become promiscuous in a way they weren't before. I used to think this was too much, but having seen they routinely do this to women in court (even when not supposed to) I'm thinking it's necessary. I'm also for the police keeping an accusation only record where victims can report assaults anonymously, if they know a charge is not possible, just so that if someone else accuses the guy the police know to contact her, maybe use her in court or use the multiple cases to establish pattern behaviour.

‌Financial control: Financial choices in modern relationships have huge quality-of-life implications, and the abuser takes your voice away in making these decisions, which is a monumental denial of your rights, while the abuser extorts important benefits for himself. And his financial abuse puts him in a much better position than his partner if the relationship splits up. I agree! If your intuition is telling you something is amiss, you’re right 99 percent of the time. Which is why men tell us we are being paranoid. Not once have I seen an otherwise sane female friend or family member feel she had a cheating OH (with no apparent evidence) turn out to be wrong. There must be some shitty old PUA manual floating around telling men to yank out women's earphones. I've spent a fair amount of time on pua and mra sites over the years. Yes they do say to do this now and then, I've seen it. Also: Negging (insulting you to lower your self perceived SMV at the start so you'll give a LVM a go). this is the “enforced monogamy” thing that Jordan Peterson got in trouble for As opposed to the guys at the top of the status pyramid having multiple women. I watched that piece, he wasn't talking about forcing women to get married, it was talking about discouraging women from chasing the top 10% and accepting that multiple women would be with the same man (dating). out there as a complete aside that more relationships "lowers" the number of "sexually frustrated" men committing random, violent crimes Speaking from an anthropology background: marriage lowers male offending rates. Getting laid while single does not. Something to do with acquiring a wife lowering men's need to get status through violence or thievery. It's pretty common in polygamous cultures for young men to be horribly violent in youth in an attempt to gain the resources to buy a wife.

I think male paranoia comes from the realisation they are really, really easy to replace. Dick is free and easy to find. Random guys will be chasing even unattractive women with kids. A woman, however, is hard to find. A lot of us are quite happy to be single. And in order to keep a woman you need to either make yourself indispensable, or make it near impossible for her to leave. Cue resentment from men.

the true motivation for such a goal, is to A) punish the mother of the children and B) avoid responsibility of paying maintenance. This was exactly why my dad fought for custody after my mum left him. He literally told me, to my face, age ten, that the only reason he wanted custody was so he wouldn't have to pay her maintenance. Looking at her letters to her mum decades later, it became very clear he was also doing to emotionally punish her for leaving him. He got full custody because she was il…

I have gone through many of the other things like catcalling and attempted kidnapping And that reminds me of when I got kidnapped by a fake cab driver. Back about 1990. I was waiting for a cab I'd booked late at night. He rolled up and said my name, I got in. About five minutes in we took a wrong turn, about the same time I heard over the radio "that girl wasn't at the Red Lion", which made me look down at the radio and saw that it was missing a mike. Realised this guy was not the cab I'd booked…

Red flags are like icebergs. There's always (ALWAYS) much more beneath the surface. It's little things you pick up on, that form a subtle pattern. That trips your subconscious into sensing something is off. The conscious part of your brain then overrules it, because it can't see the pattern for what it is. Then years later when you have access to all the hidden facts, you understand what you were seeing. That's not a great place to find yourself.

80% of women were sexually touched without consent before the age of 18. Some little shit decided to jab his thumb up into my vulva when I was walking down the school corridor, aged 13. After further analysis, the researchers also found that women preferred tall and lean men. Well duh. However.. women don't just use visual cues. I dug out some research last year that showed women can't get enough info from still images to decide if a guy is hot or not. Also need to hear them speak and watch them move. If you consider women's voted lists of hottest men, you get actors and singers. Very rarely male models. Men's top hottest lists are about half models. If anyone wants I'll look f…

A few years ago I checked same sex homicide rates, as a guide to the basic difference in male and female violence. Same sex only, to account for the size difference. Men were 38 times more likely to kill man than a woman was to kill a woman. That's the difference in violence.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/04/21 05:29 PM

I always wonder if the reason women are statistically weaker than men is because of historical food disadvantage. Nope. Most of male strength advantage is due to size difference, and that's down to a combo of male puberty and y chromosomes lengthening limbs. The rest of the difference us down to testosterone induced muscle growth.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/04/21 05:26 PM

IIRC strength training doesn't create bulky muscle even in men. You need low reps high weight for that, muscle growth is high rep lower weight. So strength train if you want. We ARE capable of being physically strong. Sorry but even if we train our asses off the average woman is not going to be as strong as the average untrained man. I looked up some strength data a couple of weeks ago, even trained female athletes rarely came into the untrained male average range.

Men commit the murders. In murders of children under age 5, the perpetrators are 58% male, 42% female From reading into to sex differences in offending years ago, I can tell you that the murder rate per hour spent with the kids is 11x higher for men. What you are seeing here is a lot of post partum and long term stress multiplied by the time spent with a child. Wish I could remember the source, the number just stuck in my head.

The manosphere likes to point to studies such as these as "evidence" that women are hypergamous. If you look at how the women message the men (it's the same data study) it's pretty evenly, you can't see that on that link. What most people don't get is a photo just isn't enough information for a woman to get accurately judge hotness. We need to see movement and hear the voice. Men get rated way more evenly IRL. https://www.lesswrong.com/posts/X3jz5mriJeWi2uLdF/how-subjective-is-attractiveness You…
