Yes. Sometimes. They’ll usually do something or position themselves in a way to draw your attention, they’ll make themselves standout to you in the social context you find yourselves in, and give you space and opportunities to approach and engage with them. Sometimes they’ll randomly come up and start talking to you, in a way that sounds like they are grasping for straws, trying to find something to talk about usually for the purpose of showing her interest in you and has the potential to be fli…

First point is false. At my peak I had an athletic build, and have never been toned. There’s one day I woke up to a six pack. It was the first and last time I ever saw them. And even though I’m not tall thin or toned, I’ve still drawn the interest of unusually good looking women, some of whom were tall and thin. My brother in law was the same, and he’s had way more success with women, even when he was single and overweight he was still pulling young, beatifull women. Ive also known guys who were…

There are three things that affect our behaviour. Thoughts, feelings and movement/action. Understand the difference between feeling and emotion, behaviours start to make more sense. Each one of those things affect the other, learn how to tune into how a woman feels through differences in how she moves or talks, she’ll use the context you find yourselves in to make herself stand out to you or to blend in and not be noticed, it will give you an idea of her interest or lack there of. When she reali…

Out of sight (1998) Don’t like either Lopez or Clooney, but the dinner scene was brilliant, an example of how tone, indirect implied meaning where you both have to read between the lines, rather than being direct and obvious, can really drive sexual tension. One of the most memorable scenes in any movie I’ve ever seen. The vibe is palpable.

Sorry to hear that. A couple of guys that I knew that were brilliant with hooking up with women were also some of the most insecure men I’ve ever met, on the surface they could really put on a show, but when things got too real, or felt like someone was stealing their spot light, they could turn ugly really quickly. Anyway, good luck to ya.

Hang with your cousin and observe. It’s more about vibe and personality, more so with pretty girls.

Third paragraph is the truth of it. How others feel around us, through our own behaviour and feelings are at the heart of attraction. Looks, displays of wealth, status etc. play a part in attraction but it’s not everything, as these are things that can affect feeling, as well as many other traits. I was the same in my late teens early 20’s. Average looks, next to no money no real sense of style etc. but drew the attention of some of the most beautiful girls around.

Just have a normal conversation/interaction, look into her eyes and observe the exact colour and texture of her irises. I think this works because you’re brain is somewhat distracted by objective observing, so it’s not such an intense experience at first. I find this has a borderline hypnotic effect and can lead to an experoence of a momentary trance like state, for the both of you. When it happens be prepared it feels kind of weird. This usely leads to some interesting behaviours. It’s also imp…

Yes they do. From my experience, they are the ones that approach first, and put the most effort into showing a guy their interest. They take chances. Although they do not come straight out and say I like you or ask for your number. The guys job is really to notice respond and take the opportunity to make it happen, all the while trying not to ruin her feelings of attraction, and if possible increase increase them. These are the women who honestly, want to get lost in the delerium of the feelings…

Tell her you’re like a loot box, and she won’t know until she gets her hands on you, or something. Be fun, be creative with reply, imply what you might be like without being direct. She’s giving you a great opportunity to be funny and clever, you’re also giving her the opportunity to reply to you in a fun way, girls love it when you leave yourself open to quick and clever come back from her. If she doesnt have a sense of humour or doesn’t play along in her response, then that is your test for he…

Take improv drama classes. Picking up on non-verbals, context, listening and responding. Going with the flow. Flirting is a lot like that.

Good point. I was born and raised in a medium sized capital city with 2 universities and a college. Federal government is a major, well paying, employer. In my mid twenties I moved to a much smaller city, which has a collection of federal institutions and is home to one University and two colleges. People who I’ve known that became succesful either, moved to a bigger city or moved to the US.

Actually, people from the wealthier side are pretty much the only ones that could afford to work at these “cool” lower paying jobs. After a while I had to move on because I couldn’t afford to live on borderline poverty wages, as fun as it was. But these places seemed to hire really good looking girls, who wanted to work there. Many of the women I met were, talented artists university educated who eventually became professional artists or teachers, one girl I knew went on to become a tv producer.…

I gave up on dating when I was 20, after a couple of relationships didn’t work out. Thought I wasn’t capable of being in a relationship. Was depressed, tried being a player but ended up not having the heart for it. 24 was when I put conscious effort into trying to turn things around, ended up being one of the best periods of my life. Started pursuing the woman that I’m with now. The changes that I made in the way I think and feel, while pursuing her, were so profound, she ended up being one of 7…

This is xt good advice. My best friend met his wife, just this way. They decided not to have kids, but have a pretty great social life, because they still have social groups that they do things with.

Personally I wouldn’t try to make this seem like I was joking. Just apologize and drop it, go back to being just roommates, if she wants to go back to hanging out etc. with you, let her come back to you in that way if she wants. I would also use the language from her text, and go with a similar tone, but would say it in person, if there is an opportunity. Just say “I’m sorry for sending you that text, it was inappropriate, and it wont happen again.” Just leave it at that.

The real test here is whether or not her opinion of you really matters and still has influence over you. The only persons opinion that should matter is your wife’s. Who cares what your ex thinks of you. Respectfully decline, and wish her well. In the end she’ll likely end up respecting you a bit more for making it clear the happiness and well-being of your family is your priority.

Hope this post gets widely read. It’s rare that I read a post where feeling is mentioned at all. It’s probably the most important aspect involved in sexual tension and interest. People always talk about a girl being out of a guys league. In my experience the only league that matters is whether there are mutual feelings of attraction and excitement, or not. As far as attitude I agree. The times I was at my best and had the most opportunities with girls, was when I just enjoyed the things I did, a…

My childhood friend was around 5’5”, and was a prolific dater and pickup guy in his teens. Girls loved being around him, and a lot of our guy friends looked up to him. He dated shorter and taller girls than himself. I think his success really came down to how he made them feel, but he also knew how to draw attention to himself, and passed himself off as a fighter and a lover, and proved it. For the most part he was just fun and exciting to be around.
