Vortex is a great option. Check out AAoptics.com They sell factory refurbish optics from vortex (look in the refurbished section). They have a lifetime warranty. I treated my Vortex red dot like shit. LIKE SHIT. Survived. It started having issues, sent it to vortex to repair. They sent a new one. I have their high end HD scope. Dropped it 20 ft onto rocks. Other than dented case and scratches, she survived. I love vortex.
