In pretty much any club I went to in my younger days in the States, going up to a woman would result in them looking at you like you're a serial rapist (and I'm 6'3 and consider myself decent looking). The exceptions were in gay clubs where girls have their guard down and initially assume you're gay, and then in Thailand where I literally had 2 girls fighting over me.
