Mannerisms definitely apply in the real world. An actor using them just allows for a person to watch and model them. You've got PUA in your name. You know the difference between attractive and unattractive body language. I can study Marlon Brando's vocal mannerisms and adopt them myself to achieve similar results. It's the basics of NLP modeling and the same as learning from a friend that has success in xy & z.

Well reading books is good, but try to pick up some real hobbies too. Hey man. Honestly, finding a mentor is really, really good. Online sources are beneficial if you're using them to replace things like TV and Video games. Getting a mentor is tough. Allow yourself a SPECIFIC amount of time to grieve. We have to give ourselves time to feel, but don’t let this get out of hand. Tell yourself the amount of days or weeks that you will let yourself sulk, after that period of time, dedicate ALL your energy to moving on. Get rid of everything that reminds you of her. The book No More Mr Nice Guy by Robert Glover goes into some possible psychological causes, its quite interesting since he's an actual psychologist. I think people have a problem acknowledging that they might have some psychological or emotional issues, because they have no idea how to tackle them. Solid article. I really like the frame you have on life and well...just your outlook on life. People really resonate with that stuff. I'm pretty interested in checking out the Rationale Male.
