Comparing an over the counter DNA test, which is a one-time thing that takes less than 5 minutes to complete, to setting up spy cameras in your bedroom and administering a full polygraph on your partner is insane.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 03:03 PM

How? I never said anything insulting or demeaning about the woman in the scenario. I simply said I didn’t want to bear the responsibility of parenthood for a child that isn’t mine.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/26 02:13 PM

Saying “I wouldn’t date a woman with kids” in any context is absolutely going to get you pushback no matter how you word it. Single mothers are one of those protected identity groups that you really can’t speak anything negative about without catching hell. I could say “I wouldn’t date a single mother because I don’t want to take on another man’s responsibility” and women would call me “immature”, “insecure”, “not a real man”, “broke”, “sassy”, etc.

Because the pro life people are trying to tell other people what they should and should not do with their bodies. When women dismiss men who whine about not getting sex, they aren’t trampling on anyone’s freedom or autonomy. They aren’t saying “you shouldn’t have sex” they’re saying “nobody is obligated to have sex with you”. Those are two totally different messages.

If you agree, then yes. I would argue that expecting someone to go through the process of learning the truth, processing the betrayal, and then complete forgiveness in 3 months is naive. People often take years just to even process these things. Im sure you know a man right now who’s still fucked up about his first real heartbreak. He might say he’s moved on, but in reality he hasn’t fully dealt with it… With 3 months left to live, the most likely outcome of telling the truth is that the man die…

Ignorance may be bliss, but bliss is not necessarily the optimal state of being. There are many things more valuable or important than simply being in a state of ignorant bliss. If we value our agency and actually have the ability to change the situation, then the optimal state to be is informed so that we can go and do something about it. However, there are some contexts and scenarios where the opposite is true. Consider a man on his death bed who will die within 3 months. His wife has been hav…

Thats a social media fallacy brother. Get off the internet. Plenty of average men work average jobs as firefighters, police officers, EMTs, med techs, accountants, tradesmen, service members, chefs, etc. and are generally respected by society despite making average money. Bums aren’t respected, but this idea that you have to own 15 rental properties and drive a Lamborghini to be worthy of respect as a man is something that stems from out of touch influencers and goofy podcast hosts. If you tune …

Its not that they think you’ll look down on them, its that it threatens their entire concept of what masculinity is. A lot of men measure their self worth in dollars, so when they meet a woman who makes more than them they feel insecure because to them, making more money is equivalent to being better at “manhood”, and it upsets them to know that a woman could beat them in what is essentially a dick measuring contest.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 07:45 PM

I only linked this data because it’s the closest thing I could find at a quick glance that would even somewhat support OPs bold claim that “most women have had less than 3 hookups” If OP has a better source she is more than welcome to cite it, but she thinks “median” means “most common number” so I highly doubt she does lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/26 10:26 PM

is still allowed to stop having hookups without being accused of being mean-spirited, dishonest, or discriminatory. You are allowed to do whatever you want in this free country, but other people are not inherently required to appreciate, understand, or agree with your choices. There's no threshold where ppl are no longer required to respect her autonomy. Respecting your autonomy is not the same thing as respecting your decisions. There’s a bit of a distinction there, especially when the decision…

If you’re referencing the CDC study on the matter (which is based on self reported data from random surveys) the median for women is 4.3 (not the average, which is much higher). If we look at the actual distribution, we can see that only 48% of women age 25-49 had 4 or less partners (the minority), and 52% had 5 or more (the majority), which means your claim that most women in the US have had less than 3 is completely false. Also, note that nearly 25% of women reported having more than 10 partne…

Like most arguments these days, nuance gets ignored. There is obviously a difference between a woman who has had 2 hookups and decided that casual sex wasn’t for her, compared to a woman who has had 50 hookups and is only now looking to “settle down” because they’re pushing 30-35. The problem is women assume every other woman is the former, and men assert that every woman is the latter. Nobody wants to admit that the other side is right at least some of the time.

Is this really a controversial opinion? I am a 27 year old male, an avid gun owner, and an MMA fighter. I feel much safer (physically) around unknown women and senior citizens than I do around unknown men. With men, there is always an odd tension… The best way I can describe it is that violence is not necessarily an immediate danger, but it’s always right around the corner.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 01:43 PM

Ive never heard anyone take that angle, but you’re completely right. Pleasure is a variable in the equation that men tend to overlook. It’s pretty much always pleasurable for us, but for women that’s not the case. As men, we tend to view sex kinda like a gift you’re giving to the man. Not as something that women do for themselves. So when people like OP ask “why do women have casual sex with ‘hot guys’, but make ‘boyfriend material’ guys wait?” what they’re really asking is “why do women conside…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 02:20 PM

He’s asking why women are disingenuous with each other. And the answer is because women grew up differently than men. Little girls are told to be mild mannered, “soft”, friendly, and likable. Little boys are told to be leaders, fearless, assertive, and “tough”. This obviously shapes how we view the world and behave as adults. Women tend to prioritize being friendly and likable in situations where men wouldn’t hesitate to “tell it like it is”. Men tend to be more concerned with objective correctn…

That’s an absolutely ridiculous take dude. You’re forgetting that someone has to actually take care of the babies. Rich men tend to do that with their wallets, not their time and labor. Women on the other hand tend to play a much more active role with newborns and infants regardless of how wealthy they are. Not to mention a lot of high powered business women are probably single for various reasons, whereas high powered business men tend to have stay at home wives to pick up the slack while they’…

/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/25 07:54 PM

It’s not that difficult to understand that women in the boomer generation married more frequently because marriage was valued more in their generation and are now divorcing at a higher rate due largely to societal shifts. I get your point though that both the old generation and younger generation are experiencing unprecedented divorce rates, but I would argue that the only way to fairly assess the situation as a whole would be to examine marriage rates alongside divorce rates. Just focusing on d…

/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/25 03:47 PM

A woman who is 65 today would be from the boomer generation. Most of them are married because their generation didn’t have these issues, but that has nothing to do with the point I made. I said that most of the women who are single and in their 30s today will eventually regret not having a life partner as they get older… The fact that you responded to that with “most boomer women are married” is literally a prime example of the disconnect I’ve been talking about. You’re not actually making an ef…

Women over 30 are doing fine lol. That is generally the age where women stop caring about men as much as in their 20's. I wouldn’t call that “doing fine”… Women are working and earning a living for themselves, sure. But most of those 30 year old independent women who “stopped caring” about men eventually just turn into 65 year old women who regret not having a partner to grow old with. The reason men and women are not working together well is mostly because of men. The fact that you read my en…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/25 05:59 AM

It’s not just men that are single these days. Women are mostly single too, they just don’t tend to realize it until they hit 30 and reality starts to settle in. Birth rates are declining, marriage rates are in the toilet, and divorce rates are at an all time high. The concept of the nuclear family has been completely abandoned in our postmodern society. 2 parent white picket fence households are viewed as more of a charming fantasy rather than the societal norm. Our kids are growing up with huge…

I get the point you’re making and it’s valid, but if we’re going to look at it this way than the issue becomes the fact that generally healthy people don’t get sick for a few days each month like clockwork, whereas a woman’s menstrual cycle is virtually guaranteed.

To answer your question directly, in my experience social status and clout will often outweigh the dollar value of your paycheck, unless your paycheck is astronomically larger. If given a choice between the two men you described, assuming that one doesn’t make significantly more than the other, most women will naturally gravitate to the man who they perceive as having more social status and clout. Even if he does make a bit less on paper, it doesn’t really matter because she’ll never actually kn…

It’s a bell curve. For men, your 30s are supposed to be your peak. A man who is 22 years old, fresh out of college and just getting started in the world really doesn’t have much to offer a woman when it comes to a serious long term relationship. He has limited earning power, limited status, his social network is probably just friends from college/highschool, and like OP said, he’s young, immature, and naive. He may be in better shape physically than a man in his 30s, but women don’t really choos…

I’d recommend starting with brushing up on your philosophy. Some works I’d recommend would be Rousseau’s Discorse on Inequality, Nietzsche’s Beyond Good and Evil, Descartes’ Discourse on the Method, Saint Augustine’s Confessions, Plato’s Republic, Aristotle’s Politics, Hume’s Treatise of Human Nature, and Schopenhauer’s The World as Will… These works all sort of touch on the subject you’re interested in, and reading them will make you a much more cultured individual.

Your point is that women instinctively understand men because our society has been filtered through a male lens, and this is evident in our media, film, TV, etc. but what if I told you that women are actually the largest consumers of this entertainment, and a lot of this entertainment has been specifically tailored towards women simply because there are more women out there spending money on entertainment than men… And I’m also not buying your point that men hold most positions of power these da…

Honestly, women don’t really give a fuck about understanding men lmao. You don’t see any women going on the internet buying courses or watching YouTube gurus to learn about men. There are a lot of men out there that fail to understand women, but I would argue that the overwhelming majority, like 90% of women are absolutely fucking clueless when it comes to men. They simply don’t need to understand us to obtain us, whereas we need to understand them in order to even get our foot in the door.

why do humans behave a certain way and where do our values come from? That is a ridiculously big question to ask in a dating subreddit lol scientists, philosophers, and religious leaders have been trying to figure that one out for thousands of years and the jury is still out. At some fundamental level it has to do with how our brains are wired. Evolutionary biology is an interesting topic to study and it explains a lot, but beyond our basic hardwiring we are driven by external influences like re…

Being emotionally intelligent is not the same thing as being an “emotional” man. When people talk about “emotional men” they’re referring to men who aren’t in control of their emotions, and those men are inherently unintelligent because they don’t understand how their emotional outbursts, moments of weakness, and impulsive actions affect the people around them. 4-8 bodies in your mid 20s as a woman in this era is almost prudish. I know women who have put up those numbers in a single summer… I don’t think any red pill men would complain about that. Realistically, if you became sexually active at 16, you could have 2-4 bodies by 18. Then from 18-22 you might go through a bit of a “hoe phase” in college where you experiment a bit, and you might sleep with 3-5 guys a year during that time. That would put you somewhere between 14-24 bodies by the time you h…

Let me answer your question directly without beating around the bush or giving you a sarcastic “we don’t seek to control women” answer. Nobody is saying women can’t have fun in their youth, we are saying that there has to be a reasonable limit. My opinion is that between 18-22 is fair game for a woman to have fun, go through a brief hoe phase, experiment, and get it out of your system. Those are your college years. Beyond that it becomes excessive. As a woman you have to acknowledge that your “p…

To answer your actual question I feel like the majority of women (60-75%) are “bad”, and the majority of men (60-75%) are “good” if we’re looking at “good” and “bad” simply in terms of relationship value. The reason I say this is because men are conditioned by society to be chivalrous gentlemen whereas women are being conditioned by society to be “strong and independent”. Women are being told that they don’t need men, but men are still being told to chase after and cater to women. To give you my…

The logic is that high value men can afford to treat women as disposable objects whereas low value men can not. But this logic is bullshit for multiple reasons. High value men have options, that is true, and because they have options they are more likely to cheat, and less likely to put on a front or try to mask their unattractive qualities. Low value men are, for the most part, less likely to cheat (mostly because they can’t lol) and more likely to put on a facade and pretend to be a “nice guy”…

Third date. My logic for this is simple. I’m a busy man, I have time for maybe one date per weekend. That means if I take a woman out 3 times, at a bare minimum we’ve been talking for almost a month, and in practice it’s usually longer because when you’re casually dating you probably aren’t going to go on dates with the same woman 3 weekends in a row. That means we’ve been talking for a month or a month and a half. That’s plenty of time for us to get to know each other and feel comfortable.
