Yes. People grow into attraction and relationships. This game of trophy dating and self obsession is toxic. The point is not that women need to be forced to date unattractive and abusive men,,, it is that 90% of men on apps aren’t even getting swiped on. Society works overtime to tell that 90% that they are the problem.

In a lot of ways tiktok, x, and algorithmic doomscrolling has created hive mind mentalities on a scale we’ve never seen before. Most of the women I talk to echo and agree with whatever ideas are trending at the time. There are outliers but they’re few and far between in my world right now.

I think it’s another example of progressing too far. “Standards” is another way of putting the all women going for the same 10% issue. Success, health, money… that’s all built with time, and is made easier with companionship. If we lean into this cutthroat dating lifestyle our culture has seemingly devolved into then it will be hell in 10 years for everyone. We need to bring back romance, patience, and healthier expectations to survive as a society.

Life is full of ups and downs and women only want to be there for the ups. As soon as there are better options, or literally anything goes wrong, it’s over. This isn’t as bad if a relationship is built on love, romance, patience, and commitment, but gen z and feminism killed all of that, calling it internalized misogyny.

Most of these “debates” are just explaining why men don’t deserve empathy. Isn’t it human to want to be wanted? To be a human being that goes through life not being wanted by anybody is depressing. It’s isolating. Isolation fries you, isolation kills you. Not having the day-to-day continuity and memories and emotions that come from sharing your life with someone is very depressing. As a man, on top of that, you are continually reminded, shamed and talked down to for being single. Like being a st…

A lot of men are told that they are inherently unlovable and that if they work hard enough to become a “high value man” when they are young, then they might one day be worthy of love when they’re older. Meanwhile there are no such expectations for women of the same age. It’s not like resentment is coming out of nowhere.

This is the kinda bullshit that flipped me red. There are so many perspectives spanning so many cultures throughout time on love. To claim that all these women are brainwashed and to blame men for doing it is extremely antagonizing and extremely out of touch. They wonder why men voted red this election cycle; it’s because blue wants them to die. Just being a man is enough to be hated by the majority of women now. At this point it feels like feminism has just turned into finding fun new ways to b…

Men are subhuman now. Men are a commodity and a resource to be consumed only. The “patriarchy” had their turn, and the fix is to just consider all men inherently evil and undeserving of empathy. The modern day “liberation” women are experiencing has a cost and the current generation of men are the ones paying it. As an ex once told me: long-term monogamous relationships are “republican coded” and republicans are evil. If you want an exclusive relationship as a man in 2024, you are an out of touc…

Downvote me but it feels like a huge wave of toxic entitled feminism has completely taken over in my circles these last few years. I like to think that exposure to some stories and discussions might open some eyes because it feels like a deep rooted culturally systemic issue at this point.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
