Using general dating advice as representative of redpill when convenient, when the backbone of the movement is the stuff on the sidebar like roissy and roosh is the definition of bait and switch. You knew what they were talking about when they said "using tactics [that] attract women who are shallow and have low self-esteem" they were obviously not talking about the "go to the gym and lift" type advice.

I am not "strawmanning" the red pill by saying they're misogynistic. Anyone outside of the manonsphere bubble sees that they're a cesspool of misogyny. Hell, there are even MRAs from /r/mensrights that can see it. Right now on there sidebar is a "good link" to a self-styled pua named heartiste who is not only misogynistic, but a white supremacist.

Well the only specific example that ties Kennedy to a specific event in your comment is "Bay of Pigs," which was an operation by the CIA concieved of during the Eisenhower administration to start an uprising and depose communist dictator Fidel Castro. While it's underhanded geopolitics it isn't particularly indicative of a Machiavellian personality.

If a guy verbally consented to a woman and she legitimately believed he was lucid, but in reality he was black out drunk and unable to consent, should she be guilty of rape? If that's what the evidence establishes, then yes, the damage was done. If the court can somehow establish that she legitimately believed he was lucid, then perhaps the court could consider leniency.

My point is that you can't read someone's mind as to whether they thought someone could or couldn't consent, but you can find evidence that shows that a person was too altered to be lucid. As for your suggestion for changing the definition of consent from "a person cannot consent if they aren't in a lucid state" to "a person consents if their partner determines that they're in a lucid state" would mean that only people who are stone cold passed out could be considered as not giving consent. If you want to say that she was so drunk she passed out and therefore couldn't consent I'd be fine with that line of reasoning even though I might not necessarily agree with it. What could possibly be disagreeable there. Well, the MRAs that are suspicious and angry at women are the vast majority. I would venture to say that nearly 100% would say that the pay gap is there for a reason, because women are lazy and choose make bad career choices (ahem I mean work fewer hours and choose less lucrative careers). There may be a few oddballs out there I don't really know, but I wasn't being fair to them.

No I'm working under the FBI's model of 8% of reported rapes are unfounded, (which doesn't mean false) and rounding up to 10% and doing my calculation from there. Edit: 8% appears to be generally accepted as the upper limit, but a 10% calculation is easier.

He's about three times as likely to win the second prize in the lottery than be falsely accused of rape, so I don't think it'll be a big deal. He'll be able to hire pretty good lawyers. edit: that's assuming he only buys one lottery ticket per year. edit: Jeez, if I knew everyone here hated statistics so much I wouldn't have said anything.
