I'm in the same boat, two you kids and married to someone who makes me unhappy all the time. I've tried to make it work but then one day I saw her treating one of the kids the same as she does me and seeing how upset my daughter she was made my mind up. I have found that talking has helped me a lot. I've been speaking to my friends and family mostly. I have also spoken to 4-5 family solicitors and they reassured me on lots of things such as access to kids and finances. I would recommend talking …

Thanks, yeah I'm planning on 50-50 kids which is what all the solicitors I've spoken with have said shouldn't be a problem. Finance wise we have some equity in house but solicitors can help sort that. I can see her pushing back on parenting split because she only works part time through choice. I plan on only talking about kids while the divorce goes through, and keep it as civil as possible. I wont get drawn in to an argument with her.

Thanks for replying, Yeah I've been planning on where to stay short term or even part of the week. All solicitors have said to try and remain in the house even a couple nights a week for when the divorce rights happen

I have been in the same situation and getting ready to have the D talk with my wife. We've not had sex since September and are pretty much just been existing in the same home for the last 6 month. I have found talking to my mates and family has helped, I have finally got the courage to have the talk with her. There is no good time to do it however I'm waiting a couple more weeks as we will both be off work and be able to not get distracted by that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
