I think it's the ones who ARE disgusted by periods that have a bigger impact on women. You date one guy who makes a big deal out of it and suddenly you're self conscious about it regardless of other guys' non-issue with it. But honestly I don't think disgust over periods is all that big. Period shaming isn't a huge thing that I'VE experienced anyway - and certainly can't be compared to how anyone feels about rapists good God.

How can you prevent this though? She said it happened so fast there was nothing she could do. Is there a way to find out if a pediatrician believes this shit BEFORE he does it? Any type of questions to ask before you hand over your child?

I'm from a southern state in the US. Currently living in a different southern state in the US. And never have I heard of someone being teased for being uncut (except maybe on Nip/Tuck). All the uncircumcised guys I know say the same thing. It makes them more sensitive. But whatever. Either way, it still stands that this boys is now four years old and knows what it means to have it removed and DOESNT want it done.
