It's a goal. Goals are meant to be heard :) I started with a 1 minute meditation and am working my way up

What's the longest you've stayed in, out of curiosity?

You got it. People either think mindfulness is some spiritual shit or they think it's about blocking out the bad

That's the best attitude to have about reading books

That's an interesting idea. Do you find it hard erto "stick" to the word instead of a concrete goal?

Thanks for the recommendation - I've never heard of it.

Meditations is great. The main driver to starting my YouTube channel. In this post I talk about Stoicism (the philosophy Marcus Aurelius followed) and CBT (a type of therapy based HEAVILY on Stoicism). Neither of those things are blue pill.

Thanks for your words. Stoicism is a great philosophy

Completely true. However I don't want people to replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts because that's what makes life better. I want people to replace irrational (false) thoughts with rational (true) thoughts. It's all about seeing the world as it truly is.

That's very naive of you. Science + Philosophy will prove you wrong time and time again.

For me it was changing my attitude from NOT doing something every day to DOING lots of things every day. Most of my bad habits stopped when I started making YouTube videos and blog posts. I didn't have time for them anymore

Average American spends more than 2 hours a day on Social media. Think of all the things that could be done with that time.

You're right. If I find myself thinking "oh I don't want to do this because of what others will think" I'll force myself to do it and prove to myself that others really don't care.

It's amazing what happens when you implement the ideas that you hear regularly. May I ask what you did in those 10 months?
/r/TheRedPill29/01/18 02:14 PM

Sure. Make sure to implement it instead of just reading it.

For me it comes to breaking down tasks. I'm a simple man and I need EVERYTHING task, meeting and event is in one place. I've found that TRELLO does the job well. IF you go to http://simplestoicism.com/betterforless/ and pop your email in I'll be emailing everyone in a couple days exactly how I use Trello to get shit done. It includes a goals list, automation from a few different things and a calendar.

Yes you are correct you could meditate and be mindful of your emotions but this will take time, your lower emotions can provide surprisingly powerful motivation for you to get shit done. Yeah you're right, motivation just makes discipline easier and come by quicker.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
