What exactly does "objectifying" mean? This is exactly how blue pillers feel when red pillers are constantly saying things like "jesus guys, of course men do xyz terrible thing we're accusing women of too, it's just that our sub is about picking up women! Why would we mention the men???" You can't have it both ways. Either TRP is implying that only women do these things (by excluding mention of the men) or feminism is not implying that men are not oppressed (by excluding mention of the men). Which is it? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/06/14 12:07 PM
Finally, the June SurveyI'm guessing people who identify as "anti-RP" will skew older. Not sure which one will come out as more educated (once age is factored in), but I'm curious about that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/05/14 10:46 PM
Why are polygamy, polyamory, open relations, a bad thing?Interesting answer, honestly not what I expected. Do you think homosexual men are the most likely demographic to be happily polyamorous? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/05/14 11:14 PM
Why are polygamy, polyamory, open relations, a bad thing?Either it was one woman callously ignoring the feelings of those she used, or it was one very high SMV man with a harem of women all quietly hating each other. What's the deal with this? Don't mean to nitpick here, but this jumped out at me. When it's a woman with multiple guys, she's "callously ignoring their feelings" and when it's a man with multiple women they're the ones with the problem? Pls explain | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/05/14 11:28 PM
Apparently "women have it easy because it's the men doing the chasing and all a woman has to do to get sex is ask a guy", but men of TRP and TBP, how many times have you denied the sexual advance of aDo you think "good men" or "good women" are in greater supply? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/05/14 11:18 PM
Which TRP ideas would TBP accept if they were toned down?I guess. I don't profess to be an expert on negging, but as I understand it it's not really a bad thing. I think of it as gently poking fun at someone to cultivate a relaxed atmosphere (and possibly, as a PUA strategy, to help self-conscious men stop thinking of attractive women as angelic, flawless beings; we're all just people). I "neg" my boyfriend and my friends all the time, if you want to call it that... which I don't, but the results are the same. At least the way it was explained to me, … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/05/14 05:10 PM
Which TRP ideas would TBP accept if they were toned down?Agree with most of this. As a side note, I think dread game is kind of laughable (I don't know a single well-adjusted person who would respond to that the way TRPers hope/expect they would), but I have zero problem with negging. I think negging has a stupid name but it's a really good idea. It's basically just joking around with people, and is only harmful when someone gets it completely wrong and decides they're actually supposed to viciously insult someone. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/05/14 02:49 PM
Which TRP ideas would TBP accept if they were toned down?I think I would actually agree with quite a lot of it if it was, as you say, toned down. Men and women are different? Sure, that's true. Self-improvement is important and making yourself as fit, interesting, confident, physically attractive, and generally successful as possible will raise your chances of finding sexual partners that you consider to be high value. I can't argue with that. I think that SMV is a real thing, although I think there's more room for subjectivity in what makes someone "… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/05/14 02:38 PM
