4	Myth Of The Ghetto Alpha Male- I have made the same observations so many times. The black man's connection to their mother is very strong, because as the article states there are a large number of men raised by their mothers. A strong mother who is able to raise a son who actually makes something out of themselves is highly valuable in a community where males aren't slated to live long. That being said. Those males who do manage to make it out would of course have very powerful emotions towards their mothers.
