I grew up rich, athletic, 1.8m, with a gf, still am. Life still finds a way to kick you in the ribs. There isn't a single person out there without hardships, don't kid yourself. Those that don't are like 1 in 10,000, really rare demographic you're talking about where life is "always good".

The school system does not demand excellence, boys understand that and realize they only need C's to get to college and start their career path. Getting accepted to college is much much harder for girls than it is for boys because of how "well" girls are doing in education, you could argue that there are too many going to college. It's impossible to say whether or not having sex in high school would have made your life better or worse. I appreciate the response. Personally I don't know exactly what the teacher was expecting of him or even what branch of feminism the teacher wanted him to use in the thesis. From what he wrote it seems like he chose radical feminism as opposed to socialist/liberal feminism. Just for clarification, teacher is a guy. In general I expect very little from Reddit in terms of content. Occasionally a decent point of view is mentioned and that's why I put it up on this site. Will most likely post the essay on one of the various writing forums that exist.

The worst part about that is that the teacher never taught the students any of the theories in class. He left them to their own devices to do research and come up with their own ideas about it. Some knowledge should be taught with adult supervision so as not to be dangerously misinterpreted.

I agree it's a harsh point to make, but I'd say that there is less sympathy for someone who gets beaten when they themselves are a terrible person. It's never right to resort to violence but there is definitely a reason behind it in the case of the story. He didn't apologize, he has a very stubborn, driven nature. That's most likely why he got suspended, he made her cry, made it worse, didn't apologize. I love this kid because he reminds me of a young me. I don't want to watch myself get beaten by the system again.

Thanks, this is a great list of morality and I'll try to blend some of this into our conversations. He looks up to me so I try to influence him in ways that bring out his greatness and this is a very good reference for ideas to remind him of from time to time. He made the situation worse than it had to be, he most likely got into a vicious argument with her or called her a cunt or something along those lines. I didn't ask for specifics but he said that he made the situation way worse. Regardless, the root of his outrage came from feminism, the modern movement based on directionless anger.

No it's real, he definitely exacerbated things with the girl to make it worse so that he was suspended but the root of his outrage was feminism.
