I mean to say that, if she's keeping men she's not familiar with at a distance until she gets to know them, she sees OP as a man, and takes interaction with him just as deliberately as other men she might interact with. One can imagine the alternative: "oh, I don't add guys to my Facebook." "What about [OP]?" "Oh, I mean he's ok. He's not like a 'guy' guy."

If she doesn't add guys in there, and you're a guy, it sounds pretty in-line with your intentions here.

"I found the brand and I've been putting a little dab on my pillow at night."

The tokens with both of their names on them is sorta painful to hear. If not for that little context clue, the idea of inviting women to my basement to play video games is way preferable to the two antecedent coffee dates.

I say go for it. Just don't lean into the ridiculousness of it all too much. It'll start as an in-joke, but you'll probably be having genuine fun soon enough. Just let it happen without calling back to how silly it is.

Ask yourself -- if you're looking for a FWB, do you feel like a disgusting cum dispenser? If not, you might safely imagine why your FWB doesn't feel that way about yourself.

If you ask me, the successful guys in pubs just make fools of themselves following up on every lead until they find someone who was actually interested.

Absolutely. It really depends on the person and the relationship, though. I've had FWB booty call me out of the blue, partners pull me onto them in bed, ask me verbally, etc. Not all women are comfortable initiating all the time, though. Just be sure they're actually interested and not just going along when you initiate, though. It's always worth asking, but it might be something you talk about in general, too.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
