Personality has never changed, but am way more honest with myself and comfortable with who I am. Still working on it, but took 1.5 years to internalize most of it.

Happens man, such is life. I actually haven't been on this sub for about 1.5 years up until this week. It's always good to refresh and read up a bit, but the reason why so many people emphasize working on yourself first is so that you internalize everything that's been taught. Things that I worried about 2 years ago about don't even cross my mind anymore. Take this flaky text thing - it was one of the things I would always overthink. But eventually you see it so much that it becomes desensitized…

Re-reading models won't help you, get out there and experience it yourself. This improvement thing is a long, long game - trust me.

Can someone please tell me what im doing wrong what i should do or what? Hard to say since I'd have to see your interaction in person, but she doesn't sound interested. Move along. Text abit flirt a bit say that im like the next bob ross of painting and make a joke about making it a competition between her and my paintings loser gets drawn like a french girl Idk, this isn't very funny and I wouldn't know how to respond to this if I got a similar text.

Me: How about tomorrow? (silence) Me (next day): K, well if you're free it could be fun getting to know each other... Her: Haha. What do you wanna know about me? This is where you fucked up. You got salty that she didn't respond immediately. Next time just follow up normally.

Hmm. A friend of mine always told me to not be excited about people who aren't excited to see you. I think you should keep her on the back-burner...kind of like how she is doing to you. Let her miss you for a bit.

Why would it be nice to reconnect with her? You already said that it feels a lot more distant. I think you like the idea of what you used to be - you can fulfill that companionship you seek with someone new.

I think your post here puts what you meant to say in perspective. Perhaps that's why people disagreed with you (they're interpretation did not align with your intentions). Anyway, for the most part I agree with you. I assume when people say use kino, they really mean use kino (with judgment and competence).

I don't think "everyone" here is asking for advice. It's really just the OP--with that said, there's always something to learn, no matter how good you think you are. It's really not impressive that you give advice on an online internet forum, and the fact that you use that to flaunt your e-penis around suggests that you feel the need to have others validate your opinion, otherwise you'll throw a hissy-fit (like you are now). People have different methods and goals...there's no reason to quantify…

Would you argue that in some cases, i.e being in grey area, it is better to verbally/overtly communicate your interests, rather than physically escalating (without verbally communicating it)?

I feel like you're exactly where I am. Much like you, I'm confident, well dressed, fit, I implement light kino in my conversations....etc. A lot of my female friends are attractive and the way I interact with them is a very playful/flirtatious vibe (many of them have boyfriends too). Because of this, I blur the lines between friendship or shit going down very often; I begin to question my judgment if I can even recognize attraction anymore, with my "platonic" friends at least. Anyway, what I'm t…

Pickup theory suggests probable deniability: "hey come check out my dog," "I got a cool _____ that you should see." But sometimes there's nothing you can do man -- it's not necessary to F-close every single time. She seemed pretty adamant about staying with her friends at the club. I think you did a great job of escalation and building attraction, and from the looks of it, shes pretty into you already. You already know what to do, set up a date (plan for logistics on bringing her home) and follo…

So it's a balance between paying attention to the girl/what she's saying and kino/body language?
/r/seduction31/01/14 05:23 PM

So do the actual topics of conversation matter ? Or is attraction mainly the physical interactions (kino).

Look man, you can't keep using this "being completely honest" thing as a crutch. If I felt like whipping my dick out during a movie and started jerkin' it, would that be okay because , "hey, at least I'm living honestly!" No. Actions speak louder than words. Your telling her that the friendship wouldn't work out is less impactful than had you just not said a thing. It yields the same result (living honestly, you feel the relationship is toxic and you end things), but at the same time it creates …

I mean, from what you typed, it seemed as if you had already come to terms with things mentally -- without having to tell her your feelings. I don't think it's really running away. You're not supposed to express your intentions verbally, you display your interest by showing her (through kino). Same concept applies for when you decide to next her.
/r/seduction26/01/14 06:13 AM

People might disagree with me here, but I think that it wasn't necessary to overtly communicate your feelings to her. If you were already so adamant about cutting ties with her in your head, why not just...disappear without a word?

There shouldn't be a "number of dates" you should have before you try to initiate. It depends on the level of rapport/attraction that you built. Plan the logistics of your date so that you can do x activity, then suggest going to see (insert excuse here) at your house because it's nearby.

Just my opinion here. I think you're over analyzing every little detail waaay too much here. It seems like you are actively thinking about what 'move' to do next/how to respond to certain behavior instead of living in the moment. Personally, this comes off as too gamey--and what happens if you actually get this girl? You've been trying to build attraction this whole time through these little tricks instead of being vulnerable/honest...it'll be a constant stressing game since that's going to be t…

So when would you generally implement this? Or is it just something that one should change about themselves if he or she gave attention too easily?

I have a question about this...when you do things like this wouldn't it be perceived as playing games? How do you go about being more socially aware without becoming manipulative? Is it not better to just move on to a new girl?

Isn't it better to just move on? Idk. I'm in a similar situation with my ex girlfriend (both at different points in our lives/different priorities). I always thought that if she chose to be single and out of your life and it's just better energy spent looking for something new.

So do you think the way I dealt with it is a correct way? I believe I was just being nice...and I'm not sure if I should message her anymore or just leave her alone lol.

But from the convo you can see that she's being a little brat and doesn't want to talk to me because apparently I am "ignoring" her lol. Did I handle the situation properly? Yeah the more I think about it the more I am in agreement with you in the fact that even if I may have worked out like the showing affection thing or treating her more like my girlfriend...eventually down the line another reason would have came up and the whole "uncertainty" would be the root of things. She's told me before …

I just want to thank you again so much for all the consistent advice, its helped me more than you can imagine. So she messaged me on facebook yesterday and I saw it but went to sleep and didn't respond until later in the afternoon. She like double messages me and says "you're ignoring me again.." She's been posting some things on her tumblr that suggest that she's having a bad week or something. So I ask her whats wrong.. The convo goes something like this me: whats wrong lol her: nothininggg me…

So is it just a bad idea to try and seduce her again in general? What I mean by push for the breakup was that when we broke up we were just talking about how we both wanted to do more fun and exciting things later in the Summer, but she made this joke at something that was pretty personal to me and I got pretty annoyed and then one thing led to another and I basically brought the things that she was thinking in the back of her mind (her uncertainty and feelings) to the front of her mind. I didn'…

if you guys were truly compatible, then SHE would have reacted differently when you brought up "breaking up". SHE would have held up her end of it. I remember that she would make excuses like "oh it might be because of xxx" and "I don't want to lose you" but I continued to push for the breakup and I kind of forced and answer out of her. But yeah, you're right it probably would have came up one way or another and I'm blaming myself too much. I actually hung out with her on thursday and we went to…

Well it was my first relationship so it may or may not have been something that I need to work on. You are right in the sense that yeah it would have been sacrificing a bit of who I am, but is it bad to want to change myself if I feel like it is an area I'm lacking in? This is the one thing that I keep thinking about...if only I had been more patient and not brought up breaking up and just tried to work it out.
/r/seduction04/08/13 09:25 AM

Haha its just so hard to not blame myself...like from then on if I started treating her better or acting more like a boyfriend perhaps the feelings of uncertainty would have gone away

We ended on pretty good terms though and when we talked about it later for "closure" she said she would have never brought up breaking up and wasn't planning on it. Since I was the one who brought up breaking up due to me thinking it was unfair that after a while of dating she had feelings of uncertainty and doubt (not sure if she sees me truly as a boyfriend or a friend) about her feelings to me and I felt like I deserved someone who was sure. (Sorry if that doesn't make sense)

How should one deal with breakups/getting dumped/getting back with an ex?
/r/seduction03/08/13 12:11 AM

A problem in my past relationship was that she felt like I wasn't giving her enough attention/affection. Felt like I was treating her like a friend or didn't really feel like she was my girlfriend because I talk to a lot of girls the same way (really flirty, sexual jokes...etc) and she didn't feel special when I said/did the same things to her. However at the same time she also said that she's the type of girl that needs a lot of attention.

Hey random question if you don't mind answering! Relationships aren't really discussed much in this subreddit but do the same concepts of outcome independence/abundance mentality come into play still? If she dumps you for whatever reason, do you still deal with it the same way some random rejects you? At what point is it okay to treat your SO as someone special? Thank you!
