it's interesting that you also have child support payments linked to driver's licenses and passports. it seems like such a completely insane policy that i was sure only the states and maybe Australia had something like it. how does it make sense that you ruin someone's ability to earn when you say that all you want is money? it doesn't add up.

Oh please. Sometimes, this really happens. However, it is FAR more uncommon than the claims would make you think. First, rohypnol, which is where the name "ruffies" comes from, has been almost impossible to get in large quantities in the US due to its classification as a non-commercial schedule IV in the 70's. The most interesting thing about the article referenced is this statement: "Although not all battered women meet all the DSM-IV-TR criteria for PTSD, a sufficient number do; thus, a form of trauma treatment is most helpful." If I'm not mistaken, this says that being trauma symptomatic is not required for a diagnosis of PTSD or something that requires treatment for trauma.
