No he's never asked. That's why I'm asking if IM being naive to even consider this a good idea. lol. The answer seems to be yes 😅

Weirdly no he'll save money if he doesn't go. Long story but between not having to get care for our pets and him doing something when booking where he put one less adult that he was going to pay for at the resort he's going to save money ..

You're right I think and it just hurts my feelings deeply I guess but it's not for a bad reason and I should be grateful. I never asked for a trip, I'm an anxious traveller. The only time I've ever been on airplanes is with him next to me. I don't know if it's going to be great, I've never travelled with kids alone. His dad is helpful. I'm going to make the effort and go. I guess I just had never imagined this would happen

He'll be out money if I don't go, and is insistent that "I deserve it" even if I think it's going to be tough.

Wow you're inspiring!!! I think you're exactly what my husband wishes I was hahaha I actually also cannot function with a messy house so i REALLY DO make such an effort to keep everything as clean and decluttered as possible. But I also love to let my boys be messy especially since I KNOW I'll get to it as soon as they're done. But I agree we need help, I've asked and asked but he really doesn't think we need it

You're right, I do realize he gets over stimulated with the mess. He has the downstairs to himself with his own bathroom, his office, nobody goes there or ruins the vibe. I guess in theory I shouldn't let the boys have slime or paint but they love it so much and I'm literally ready to clean it as soon as it's over. Today I just wanted to get through breakfast and the next thing on my list was to perfectly clean it - and it's already all gone.

That's a good idea. If you don't mind me asking, how much was your personal chef? Was it a service you hired, how did the hiring process work? My husband does help a lot he's taken over the laundry completely I guess I just feel bad that I can't do it on my own because he works so much and then has to help so much at home

Thanks. In theory it's possible, it just feels like I should be able to manage on my own. I'm wondering how other households are holding it all together lol

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
