When I say fix your fucking it's more than just in the moment. It's having more pussy than you know what to do with. At that point I've seen some dudes stay/come back to fix other shit. But without it being addressed on the side bar people just throw random opinions like how lifting is good for cardio, intermittent fasting is anti aging, crypto is the best/worst investment or whatever other nonsense Huberman has been talking about this week. A low-key example was jcx coming back to fix his overs…

I wasn't trying to address the requirements of the OYS thread. That was probably unclear. So to clarify. I was simply sharing the note that from what I've seen and experienced it produces suboptimal and sometimes downright weird outcomes when dudes veer too far outside the stated purpose of it - "sexual strategy".

'oh, you fucking lots? Cool, you're done'. I agree with this, or I wouldn't be here in the first place. More often than my ego would like I see some rando doing stupid shit, comment, and then think "wait a minute... just yesterday I...". So RP is great for fixing fucking, improving it further and - most crucial to me - keeping it fixed. Hence, there are better places to source advice and feedback refers to other life areas, if it wasn't clear. If u/Dunlop60 wants to move his bench from 300 to 35…

To some extent. There's a lot of positive side-effects to fixing your fucking. Call it self-actualization if you must. Once you have, though, I would posit that the downsides of OYS outweigh the upsides. I guess you'll figure out what it is for you in any case.

Pretty fatigued this weekend. Slept-in, did some LISS, ate 10% more macros (all slow carbs and quality protein) and now feel back to 90% on energy and soreness. What are you trying to achieve, nutritionwise?

RP is about fucking. If that's fixed, there are better places to source advice and feedback. About lifting, parenting, whatever.

Thought the application might resonate with some guys. Cut this shit out. When you (think you) are writing for the audience it is both a symptom and cause of a bloated ego. It will blind you and let shit linger in your life. Happened to many a "vet" on here. I'm allowing it for now because I want to just observe instead of enforce. Both cases were good reminders that this shit works, regardless of circumstance, right or wrong. Also regardless of outcome with one woman (your wife). Be careful to let her reactions be the measure of success/fail. Bitching continued (which I A&Aed) until arriving at the event, It sounds like you endured it for the entire ride to wherever you were going. That sounds horrible. I like to use a 3 step model for bitchy behavior. A&A. Verbal warning/nuke. Remove my presence/attention. How long I spe…

You are a funny guy. Writes: I will also remove “she” from future field reports and OYS/OMS, because this is mine, not hers. Proceeds to write "wife" 12 (TWELVE!) times. As many of us told you, this one was DOA. Your bitch stbx even had the courtesy to help you see plus give you the upper hand in divorce proceedings. Don't fuck this golden opportunity up. At least in that sense, you're free. Set up your divorce to favor yourself as much as possible and then go live the life you deserve. u/YDDMS and anyone else is always free. And should do as you describe. Granted, his wife letting him know she's fucking around will help him see it clearer. But it's the same recipe for any guy here.

It will be hard to make the examples work in a relationship context. There's really no need to get fancy to stop a girl mouthing off. "Shut up" is just fine.

All girls are stick-oriented. Both literally (hehe) and figuratively. Like the rest of us you are hardwired as well as programmed blue. Hence, this is counter-intuitive both instinctually and intellectually. Might even be uncomfortable. The Red Pill never was particularly palatable. Your kids will be fine no matter what you do. Look up twin studies etc. if you need some food for your hamster on that one. In general overthinking sets you back. Action changes thinking, not the other way around. Th…

Do this: Reset everything including chins so you hit 10 reps on the amrap set. Eat to gain. 2lbs a month or so. Follow program as written. No extras. No cheating. Exclude harness unless you're a fighter/want a big neck. You should be benching two, squatting three and pulling four plates for reps in about three months. What you do from there is up to you. I'd probably maintain strength on a more forgiving programme while cutting some 15lbs of fluff.

There's something in the basics you're missing or you would be benching bw and squatting 315 by now. Thanks for the feedback, helps to keep things clear. If in doubt, STFU. If less in doubt, AA/AM. If no doubt, consider a nuke. Squat up 55, DL up 40, Bench up only 7.5 and OHP up only 10. The only variation from Phrak's is that it adds in rows and chins. I do them after my other work so I don't think they're slowing me down, unless there's something else about lifting I don't understand, which is very possible. Looks don't matter for shit really. I mean. Look at Neill Strauss. Caleb Jones. Whatever other known faces with high notch counts. Frame>game>looks. Still fun to optimize though. And good looks do make things smoother and easier ime. 5'11 188 11% navy is pretty damn good. With the lifts I'd expect more like 13. I take it you do some BB stuff apart from the big three? Lifting: strong lifts 5x5 since 11/10/2022, switch to phraks gslp 2/2/2023: Squat 275 lbs, Deadlift 365 lbs, Bench 177.5 lbs, Barbell row 232.5 lbs, Overhead Press 110 lbs, chin ups 30 lbs. How is your bench/press so weak but your chin so strong? What has lifts and BW done since switching to GSLP? I would recommend actual GSLP over "Phraks" or any other variant by the way. Interesting. What's your BW? And which method do you use to measure BF? If not Navy Method, where does Navy Method put you? As for choosing between where to sit BW/BF as with everything it depends on what you want. From a sexual strategy perspective, as long as you are below 15 you are good. I would even speculate that below 18 is still fine, though I haven't tested it. Frame and Game matter more anyway. Those numbers are fine. You probably don't *need* more than those 160g of protein to be in the "optimal" range. Playing it safe with a 190 target that you then sometimes fall short of seems smart. I wouldn't stress about it tbh.

my physique is unassuming until I take my shirt off or am wearing tighter clothes, then it's like a jump scare. For natty guys it is a tradeoff between looking good naked and looking good clothed. I just discussed this with u/FutileFighter. My own sweet spot seems to be 12-15% BF. I would think it's at least that for shorter guys, as you need more girth horisontally to make up for the vertical. 1lb a week for 10 weeks. Why bulk so agressively? It seems counter to the current consensus on the appropriate way to manage cutting/bulking for natty dudes once they're decently strong. From most of what I've seen, natty guys with a life have a hard time getting much above 23 FFMI while being below 15% BF. YMMV, but if this is you, too, it's becoming that time where you decide what BW you want to yo-yo around long term. If so, my note is just that I've gotten better results from being heavier. Face gains is a real upside, I agree. Yet even there I've found girls to respond better to "well fed" look. FWIW what I'm left thinking after seeing those shots is "DYEL?". But, their won…

Getting to 165 lbs without losing much / any muscle would put me at 9-9.5% body fat and I think the difference would be significant, as demonstrated by the differences in these pics: 165 lbs is pretty damn light. I don't remember how tall you are, but I found that getting shredded (10%) meant I just looked skinny and "toned" when clothed, even though my FFMI is closing in on 25. 12-15 seems to be the sweet spot for me of getting big enough for it to be noticeable, yet lean enough to stay sexy. I just measured against 2-3-4 wheel lifts, but that one or the one FF posted is fine. A PL total of 900-1000lbs is enough to be top of the fuck pile if you aren't fat (say 12% according to strongur.io). Getting up to 1200 and carrying a bit more weight @ 12% is even better, but not needed to be in the top 10% in most rooms you walk into. Get much higher and the correlation to fuckability turns negative, but I don't see a risk of that for you.

One of the most useful parts of TWOTSM is chapter 13 - "Don't use your family as an excuse". I'd be careful with the rest of the book as it has some blue to filter out and is a bit hand-wavy. • Drank more alcohol than my macros allow this week and see the results in my BF (visually and Navy). I also ate out too much and blew out my fat macro on most days. So. How do you do better for next week? Great stuff on the lifting. Think in terms of 2-3-4 plates for bench/squat/dead in the medium term. Nothing earth shattering but good enough for most purposes. That means sq/dl are about 15% off currently whereas your squat is lagging a whopping 40%. Should be some easy gains to be had there.

This is spot on and helpful. After the initial shitstorm of reactions and emotions, my wife seems to have accepted that there’s only one path left. I think so, too. In my comments I’ll assume this being the case. If it’s just hysterical bonding, you’ll know. And at this point will have no problem cutting the cord. I wouldn’t say I see the whole matrix, but i feel like I see enough to avoid the big pitfalls and occasionally see around a corner. You are in a very dangerous place here. One where yo…

Run the numbers. In essentially all cases you break even after a max of about 5 years out from divorce. And then it’s pure upside from there on out. Do a full divorce prep, everything calculated, drawn up, printed, put in a drawer. This will help your mindset considerably. Also, how did you reach those rather impressive lifts?

I found it fun during my divorce to identify the five different manipulation techniques, ego, wounding, shaming, frame-shifting and anger. It is kind of like seeing through the matrix. That said, I would again advise you to watch her actions. If she’s giving you all you want, who cares if its from ”overt dread“, her chakras aligning or that healer her aunt Sally went to see? In all probability you are correct in assuming it is hysterical bonding. And thus likely to pass before divorce is final. …

As for divorce just figure out absolute best case scenario for you, without thinking about anyone else. This is harder than you think. You might realise that there are options you could go for you hadn’t even previously considered. Find whatever things are very important for your ex poke at those, even if you don’t care, pretend that you do. Then you have somewhere to cede, to get some of the stuff you care more about. There are many ways to structure OYS. One is to have “things I did well“ and “things I fucked up” columns. And then reflection on what you did to maintain/develop the former and mitigate the latter. I would suggest just make it a habit to get out of your head about it. You are a man who exercises from 5 to 6PM every day or whatever. You are very hard on yourself. I would suggest cultivating gratitude and celebrating things that go well alongside all the fuckups you identify. OYS is hard, no need to make it harder. What did you learn from the fuckups you identified (missing macros, training, deadlines)? What did you implement to make it less likely to happen in the future? For the record I don't think that lower=better. It's more like the guys I see not hitting parallel end up ego lifting, cutting it higher and higher. So you don't have a way to gauge progress over time. Plus they get hurt often, but that might be correlation not causation. As for trusting actions right now this always goes. For a girl only showering you with affection for years and years or a wife that just flipped the switch. People respond to incentives. It's pretty simple.

Sounds like my situation. I would advise to keep fucking her throughout and fogging whatever stuff she promises while you just keep going with the process. There might be stuff in there you can leverage to your advantage in the divorce terms, so be on the lookout for those as well. I've always wondered. Are you 100% sure your squat isn't a hair high? It's rare to see it on par with deads though not entirely uncommon especially in shorter guys.

That makes sense. I can relate to getting lazy with pushing boundaries during sex. In general you would do well to remember that the relationship is most harmonious when you keep your girl on her toes, guiding her to continuously improved performance. In all areas not just fucking.

While correct, I would be careful with this line of argumentation. Rule Zero means arranging your life to benefit you in all ways possible. Further, money is freedom. I didn't even realize how much this is the case before I discarded the shackles of paying for other people. Once divorced it was fairly easy for me to get to a financial position of fuck you. That mindset is life altering. Further, don't discount how loss aversion subtly changes your behaviour with your wife to your detriment, as p…

Answer is found in the quoted below. Dude is practicing assertive tools. In the wrong place and in the wrong way, to be sure. But practicing. We all suck starting out. I am reading and re-reading WISNIFG. I'm using the assertive bill of rights in my own inner narrative. I'm using the assertive techniques on myself and others in almost every verbal interaction I'm having. The reason he's avoiding posting his lifting programming is some NG hiding the badness stuff. I like to think of it like this: Nothing is permanent. Everything is always changing, including your life (areas). Inaction on your part will mean circumstances and/or other people define how. Thus it's up to you to keep things moving in a direction that's to your benefit. ICM phrases this something like life happens blue dudes whereas you happen to life if you're red.
/r/MarriedRedPill31/03/23 03:27 AM

Yeah. Looks like you graduated. Not much of the basic work left to do. Now the trick is to wean yourself off oys and not get complacent or backslide. I like how you structured your overarching ambitions in your different life areas. It makes it easy to attach SMART goals. I found this worked to keep me progressing and on my edge. I don't push all areas all the time. But I always have at least a few where I'm deliberately going beyond my comfort zone.

Progress is progress. Just an input: At your height I'd put you on GSLP with a goal of gaining 1kg per month (after the first 2-4kg of water and glycogen) for six months. You would end up in the high 80s with decent lifts. Then either push to good lifts or cut some fluff.
/r/MarriedRedPill29/03/23 10:43 AM

It's hard to gauge from assistance lifts and higher rep ranges. And getting 16 reps incline benching with 75's is nothing to sneeze at. But when a guy posts up dinking around with a sub 200 deadlift and dbs in stead of the big three it usually means there's some fuckarounditis involved. Posting up what you actually do for a while might ensure you don't end up in that all too common trap. And thus let you improve your sexual strategy.
/r/MarriedRedPill29/03/23 05:25 AM

This is the shit you should be owning for a while until you have decent lifts, in stead of all the navel gazing.

I wasn’t recommending he reward his girl. My response assumes he will not react to his girl. The point is he should have is shit together and be living the life he wants getting the results from others he wants before they react in a way that causes him to feel he needs to change his behavior even after recognizing the potential for manipulation. "when dudes in defense of a position cover me in words that "can't be pinned down" Id ask whether or not if you might have a propensity to not allow yourself to be. And why. I guess I do avoid those things in general, as it hasn't really brought me anything but confusion and frustration in the past. I wanted to test it out here, which is why I actively pursued this conversation. It was exactly to explore what happens when I do go into the (to me) nebulous word-storm. This time, nothing much. /r/MarriedRedPill28/03/23 04:57 PM

"do you want to sleep with her" This can be a nice segway to getting your girl to think about threesomes. Not with the colleague (don't shit where you eat) but some other girl. For the first time(s) it makes things smoother if you let your girl pick the other girl. Also has the upside that you outsource recruitment. What have lifts and BW done the last three months? What program are you on?
/r/MarriedRedPill28/03/23 04:21 PM

This is a good example of 1) how alpha is frame, game and looks in that order and 2) how easy it is (no offense) to become top 20 (or even 10) percent. Good for you. You might start getting diminishing returns on OYS now and learn more from doing without it/doing it privately while still improving. From a fuckability as well as happiness standpoint your suboptimal LBM and BF% is a place to focus for some quick wins. Preferably fucking, but if not non sexual like kiss on forehead or big hug. Use mouth words sparingly if at all. Just a brief fog, if that. Why aren't you doing a proper squat? In my time on here what I've seen is that when dudes in defense of a position cover me in words that can't be pinned down to real, concrete intersexual dynamics they're usually using smokes and mirrors to cover up a hamster. So I think you're missing two points here. Your initial (I assume drive-by) comment was shit advice. Rewarding your girl bitching about you not paying enough attention to her is literally never a good idea. This is not the same as saying you should never consider the beta side if your girl is dying of anxiety/close to ejecting. You seem to agree with this upon reflection. You're right. That was worth it. In retrospect I always find that, smart as some of the guys I'm debating may be, it's my own writing that teaches me the most. I get confused when things get too abstract. Here's me trying to make it concrete. We might just have to live each other's reality to really see it. While this may be true in an absolute sense, I think it can be valuable to get some notes from the other side. I agree that RP is a toolbox and that it's up to you what you build. And thus that I am skirting the edges of praxeology vs. philosophy and/or descriptive vs. prescriptive here. I'm just intrigued by the choice to legally marry/stay married, having understood intersexual dynamics. If you actually are living for you, it looks suboptimal in every way. It feels like I'm missing something - outside of tax breaks and other minor advantages.

You and u/blarg_risen have made me think. Can you be red and knowingly break rule zero? I'm not sure. Legal marriage is pure downside for the man. Thus, legal divorce is pure upside. I mentioned this in order to put u/FutileFighters mind at ease for that "conversation" he's about to have. "Nuking" (which I take to mean terminating the sexual/romantic relationship) doesn't factor in. Whether he choses to keep the girl around or not - and if yes in which form - is irrelevant to the discussion of legal divorce.

Your concerns about the effects of divorce are dumb. Every married man* who swallows the pill should legally divorce. If you are red, you understand this. As well as how being legally married actually makes it less likely your wife shapes up and stops messing with you and your access to your kids. Really take some time to just be with this knowledge. Preferred option is to escalate to sex. This is great. Otherwise validate that I care about her and her feelings. This is at best ineffective. And downright counterproductive if it follow a failed attempt at escalation or - as in this weeks example - becomes a reward for shitty attitude.

Yes. Then A&A reveals if it's a shit test or just shit attitude. If the latter she will still respond unfavourably, that's when you nuke. Or just nuke straight off the bat. Still works.

Most of the shit advice on here from "endorsed" contributors come from either overt or covert RPC's. Simply because you can't reconcile the teaching of the zombie carpenter with RP. The (admittedly both counterintuitive and unpalatable) fact that you have to be an asshole is the basis of RP. The secret sauce to it is "my soggy knee". We agree on substance, it’s just the concepts that I find are off here. Nice Card originally meant, and has historically in implementation been What Would Jesus Do, disguised like a kitten (because everyone loves kittens). Or altercasting, if you prefer the psychological term, golden rule if you’re philosophical etc. It is blue thinking that demonstrably doesn’t work So it really, really matters that we talk about the same things when we talk about alpha, beta, nice card, frame, game, push, pull…
/r/MarriedRedPill26/01/23 07:35 PM

Indeed you are describing basic adulting, which isn’t nice card RPC WWJD to program the wife-bot. You are 100% on point in all of your comments and thus, I would guess, in actions. I would push hard for compliance during the trip, and witdraw if there’s resistance.
/r/MarriedRedPill26/01/23 03:12 PM

I think you’re redefining the Nice Card. Subjective (re)definitions is a real issue in this place. Usually done to cover up some blue shit. I can’t be sure as you seem to have deleted the link to the Nice Card post you had in your comment initially. Either that or I cant find it bc I’m a semi-boomer). In either case, mind sharing it again? “Being cordial not acting out of spite” is basic ”wife is dead” strategy in my book, though ”neutral” is enough, no need for “cordial” unless you want to.

I must be more dense than usual. How does this relate to the nice card? I agree that pushing sexual boundaries is a very relevant point in his MAP now. And then if she doesn't play, just go do something else fun.

So we agree that FF is on the right course and nothing to really adjust? Being reactive and unable to control your stupid feelings is unattractive and should be avoided. This doesn't mean that this RPC turn-the-other-cheek-shit BS works. Whereas we know that aloof, cocky, asshole alpha behaviours demonstrably makes girls soak their panties whether they like it or not.

I hope you don't feel like I'm stepping on your toes with these questions for him because yours is the ONLY example of OYS > divorce I've witnessed on here that was well organized/executed. Yeah most find lots of Nice shit in the work sphere and once they kill it, become even more succesful. But that wasn't what I meant. What does "narrow on my happiness and take on risk" mean in concrete terms in work, friendships, relationships, family, hobbies, sex? What are you going to do to ensure you are at least 30% stronger at same or lower bodyweight by summer, and keep on pushing the boundaries in the bedroom? Perhaps most important, what is your mission?

Concrete examples, preferably from your interactions with your wife. What do they accomplish, respectively? Why do you need both, what is the current balance you are striking, what is the balance you want and why? How often have you escalated to a hard no with your wife over the last two weeks?
