How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support? That would most definitely be the best thing. | /r/MensRights | 01/05/12 01:59 AM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support?I agree with her that it is the woman's responsibility for birth control if only for the reason that it is a self-worth kind of thing. (except in an accidental situation like a condom breaking or birth control failure) It is your body and you should have pride in it and take care of it. I was however super annoyed with the whole tree nut analogy it was stupid and kind of condescending. | /r/MensRights | 01/05/12 01:46 AM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support?I have to say I have definitely changed my views a little on this subject. It's just a matter of getting people the right information, oh and I guess getting them to listen to it, that is always a problem. | /r/MensRights | 01/05/12 01:31 AM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support?"If she requires prenatal care, it's because she chose to keep it" But if she requires an abortion, it's because she chose not to keep it. That's like saying that it's the woman's choice but the abortion choice is the preferred one and the only one the man should have to help out with. And if after the abortion she would like to seek counseling, it is both of their actions that led her to go through with a procedure that left her needing counseling. I didn't necessarily mean that the man should … | /r/MensRights | 01/05/12 01:20 AM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support?I watched part 2 already. I've already explained what I meant by that. | /r/MensRights | 01/05/12 01:01 AM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support?I agree with you. I was just stating some things that bother me in an emotional way. I understand these are not necessarily logical feelings. I do however feel that whatever a woman chooses to do, a man should have to help her in some way. They should not just be able to sign a piece of paper and peace out. I suggest men pay for half of the abortion fees and counseling if the woman chooses to go, or a one-time fee based on income to help the mother with the prenatal care and first year of her ch… | /r/MensRights | 30/04/12 02:37 PM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support? That was my only problem with this argument. If the father has to help out a little with whatever choice the mother makes, I am all for the father having the right to opt-out of parenthood before the child is born, as long as he does so in a timely manner. | /r/MensRights | 30/04/12 07:42 AM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support?Yeah that could work. So when do we write up a bill and take it to congress? Is this issue being talked about at all in the political world? | /r/MensRights | 30/04/12 07:36 AM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support?Well then I'm in. I think that should be discussed a little more in the debate and it might receive a little less opposition. | /r/MensRights | 30/04/12 07:34 AM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support?I just think the father should have to take a little more responsibility, not get off scott free. He should have to help pay for the abortion or some sort of flat fee to the mother to help with doctor visits or whatever. | /r/MensRights | 30/04/12 01:51 AM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support?Don't you see the difference in what a mother would have to do to absolve herself of parenthood (abortion, adoption) vs. a father (a signature)? | /r/MensRights | 30/04/12 12:29 AM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support? So do you wish you had cut ties with her completely after pregnancy and never paid child support, or do you just want your 50% custody w/o child support payments? | /r/MensRights | 29/04/12 10:41 PM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support? She is being forced however to either A: Have an abortion (which you people seem to be similar to a dentist appt.) or B: carry a child to term. So while I believe a woman should ultimately be responsible for conception, accidents do happen so............How about men either chose to be a father or pay a one time fee to the mother to help with either the abortion or the first year of her baby's life. | /r/MensRights | 29/04/12 10:31 PM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support?Oh Snap! This guy just came out of left field with a valid argument. | /r/MensRights | 29/04/12 10:26 PM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support?Well I guess at least you do realize it is a tough decision weather or not to abort your fetus. | /r/MensRights | 29/04/12 10:18 PM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support?Do you mind sharing a little more of your story? | /r/MensRights | 29/04/12 10:15 PM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support? That is a great point. I would be devastated if the father opted out at the last minute. | /r/MensRights | 29/04/12 09:48 PM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support? The government doesn't give women a choice in the matter from what I understand (if they decide to keep the baby). My friend had to tell social services that she did not know who the father of her baby was so they wouldn't go after him for child support. Although I think that is only if the woman is after government assistance. | /r/MensRights | 29/04/12 09:43 PM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support?I understand that but it's not easy for a woman to just dispose of said fetus. Once its in there it is loved and an abortion can be very emotionally traumatizing. (of course this is not true of all women but most) | /r/MensRights | 29/04/12 08:39 PM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support?Ok. I have to say I failed to realize the importance of this denouncement taking place before the birth of a child. I guess after watching the video I have changed my views. Sigh. I have to admit that women are responsible for their bodies. I guess I just wish that all women were educated/strong enough to the implement proper birth control measures spoken of in the video. I can't help but imagine a young and or weak female in a situation where the male is all like "I love you baby, I'll take car… | /r/MensRights | 29/04/12 08:31 PM
How can I respond to the moral statement that fathers "should" pay child support?I agree. Kids cost money. If the child is living with the mother, she is spending money on that child. She is paying to keep a roof over the child's head, food in it's belly, and clothes on it's back. If a man doesn't want to pay for a child, he should not make a child. I know that if parents have joint custody, no one pays child support and the parents split the cost of doctors, clothes, school, whatever. I don't understand why men think it is fair to bring a child into the world and then procl… | /r/MensRights | 29/04/12 07:30 PM
