Dysmorphia is when you see your body in a way that does not reflect reality - e.g. a skin-and-bones anorexic person thinking they look fat. Dysphoria is essentially a brain mapping error. And right now odds are still stacked against trans people especially in the medical field. Maybe in the future we’ll find out we were completely wrong about the whole thing. Maybe we’ll find a cure.
