Exactly - I think masculinity is separate from confidence as there are feminine confident females. Masculinity can still be seen as “leader” and “provider” but I think it’s supposed to be a stereotypical concept of being rough, overly aggressive, boisterous. Feminine is being gentle, emotional, follower. I don’t personally see myself trying to be overly aggressive or being a leader- I don’t care to “lead” a woman, which I know some of them want. That simply sounds like confidence to me. Or a redefining of how the general public perceives masculinity. It’s honestly a confusing spectrum. What do we consider a masculine trait vs female trait?
