I mean both approaches have their merits. Traveling in one's twenties can be a whole lot more fun and excitement than in middle age or later. I broke my knee a few years ago, and now find myself annoyingly excluded from stuff like backpacking through Asia or climbing a mountain. But, at 28, I didn't even dream about that stuff. I was too eager to show the world what a hotshot I was :)

Close to 1MM across accounts. I do think 28 is a bit early to retire, I mean you probably spent all this effort on getting an education and are just getting started, so why not enjoy your career and make the big bucks from 30-40 or even later. 200k isn't enough to retire on unless you plan to live on 8k a year (4% rule) which you probably could in SE Asia or such. But, it's a good chunk of money nonetheless, you could easily check out for a year or two and then still be young and employable. Als…

You work hard, save a good chunk into your 401k and brokerage accounts set to target date funds, don't buy the new iPhone every year and stuff like that, and when your yearly expenses are 4% of your assets, which should be in about 15 years give or take, you have fuck you money. See /r/financialindependence for much more info. Sauce: have been sitting on my ass for > 1 year now and it's glorious. I'm thinking Thailand for the winter.

Wait for the robots. I know they're being late, but they will come eventually. Meanwhile, I do my own shit, and honestly I like being able to cook and clean efficiently. Had my own cleaning lady experience when I hired my ex's aunt. She broke stuff, spied on me (causing problems once she found a very old condom wrapper), and she worked less than I paid her for, essentially raising her rate from $15 to $20 - already under the table. Never again.

Oh no, not faulting her at all. In fact, I applaud her and figure ways to help her on a friendly level. Just pointing out how low orbiters are in society. Be a friend, a beneficiary, whatever.. anything except a sucker.

I don't mind being friends with a woman - I have interests beyond sex and frankly sometimes it's with my female friends that I can discuss things. Women are people and all that. Orbiter though, that's the lowest of ranks. Case in point, I have this female friend whose life is in shambles right now - debt, job loss, violent ex, house writeoff because no insurance during Sandy. She'll live out of her car soon. And there's this one guy who upvotes everything on facebook, immediately, and posts love…

I think the odds are significantly better in major metropolitan areas. I don't see many fat women in New York, and I haven't even heard of a teen mother in my acquaintance network. Wouldn't know about STD statistics now, but I've been active for 15 years and haven't contracted any. I think these things apply more to poorer and/or isolated areas than to vibrant cities where people work. Even on my OKC, I have had only one match who was pudgy and "a feminist and blogger". Not defending American wo…

I'm upvoting your question because it is a good question! The answer is no, though. Telling a person to be exclusive and then abuse their trust is not cool, nor what TRP stands for.

I'm gonna go out on limb a bit here, but from dating a Chinese girl for a good while and observing her circles... this phenomenon may not be about race or even SMV at all. The Chinese girls I met dated white exclusively too, but it was more code for "local and established". Even some obvious physical deficiency (lisp, being short, being very overweight, being unemployed - those are the ones I've seen) would be overlooked as long as they embodied the American Dream to a degree.
/r/TheRedPill20/12/14 12:02 AM

Don't send that text, she knows all that already. From what I know of China- born girls (dated a few), they don't lose control or do silly things in clubs, and they certainly don't "fuck down". If she envisions a life in America (Eu?), the local people are already completely undesirable to her. Also, not that I know her of course, but in general, sex and/or one- night- stands aren't that high on the list of young Chinese people. It's even logistically difficult to do for most (living with parent…

Ah, maybe I read too much into it. But what's the point of saying it at all, then, in that context? I figured she's pointing out a cultural thing or immigration status.

You missed the part about her being Asian. Note she did not say Asian- American, so it wouldn't be much of a leap to think that she's in fact fit/thin, decent- looking, motivated to make a life, but held back by legal status ("marriage for safety"). I've dated an Asia- born girl a while back, and found that all her friends have married some local man who would fit the given description (meek, unattractive, and visible flaws). None of the girls - who were all educated, hard- working, and good- lo…

Depends a bit on location. In a city like New York where everyone works 12+ hours to get their career going, women don't get baby- crazy until their late thirties. But then it hits super hard. I've gone on dates with 45- year olds, to find out that they wanted kids. I thought what, right here, on the table?

extreme picnicking Google image search, first result: not without a parachute. Actually not even with a parachute; I mean tables weren't made to be suspended from the sides and then sat on. I'm sure there were some modifications, but.. nope. I admit it would make an outrageous facebook post tho.

They are exactly like a racial minority. In my company they get their own events (breakfast with the CEO, lectures from businesswomen, speed networking, etc.) the same way that minorities do. I see those events about every month, but in 10+ years in my firm I have yet to spot anything offered towards non- hispanic white men. Because that would be racist and sexist at the same time.

But once they stop being frat boys and get a job, do they keep it up? Probably not, since they've figured better ways to get women's attention. Like saying "hi".

So it took me a while to warm up, but you know what? I can actually muster up a little sympathy after all. Yes, it's her fault, good thing no one else was hurt, etc. But you know who else's fault it is that we have drunk and text drivers? Most everyone else's. Society simply doesn't think this to be a crime; if it did, we'd see serious crackdowns. And it would be so easy: just give cell phone records to the cops, and it'll be as simple as "you sent a text 12 minutes ago going 65mph. That'll be $…

HR only gets involved in cases of sexual harassment, open discrimination, actual altercations, etc. In short, when it's against the law. Mild mobbing, talking behind other's backs, or intrigues are pretty much okay, depending on culture and seniority. I always enjoy hanging with the big cheeses (which in my company you can do if either you're a big cheese, or drink like a fish), and the jockery comes out, but it's always sporty. I know you're joking, but this is quite the thought. Imagine if they ran these politically- correct experiments for years, not really gaining any insight, and then incompetently send a closet alpha psycho out to Mars.. who does exactly like you say. What is NASA gonna do? Order the women to imprison him and not contribute to the mission anymore?

That's pretty much how I envisioned it :) But that's a great idea: they should make three biospheres. One with men, one with women, and one mixed. I'd expect the scientist women to be more proficient than the Survivor participants, but who knows. I'd pay to watch this.

Yes actually I did - I mean these people are preparing for humanity's largest journey yet. If they pussy- foot around with the experience- gathering experiments, the trip will possibly not be the kind of epic they envision.

Really kids should pair off, marry and have their kids really young. Then give them to the grandparents to raise Interesting idea! This would also be better for the kids, genetically speaking. Depends on the grandparents though; many would rather take off to Hawaii.

I can fill in for the Asia spot. I find them exceptionally feminine both in appearance (high standards for self) and culture (have yet to meet one who doesn't put western chefs to shame). But. When they are married and live in the US, the game changes, and heaven forbid something happens to you (like an illness or accident, as was the case for me). The Chinese girl I almost married (US educated and all) didn't even say goodbye when she left.

Came here to write this. I'm always in the loop about everybody's money, drinking, or erection problems because my women friends or girlfriends tell me. Not even hush- hush, just as part of regular conversation. "I bought this purse, oh and and Joe still can't get it up".

I once caught a very early offthechest thread, wherein a woman basically said: "we had sex, but later on I regretted it". Guess what that apparently is. Couldn't fucking believe my eyes.

Or maybe she ditched him, at which point you may be dealing with a shithead. For a long time, and involving lots of aspects in your relationship, from vacation planning to kid rearing. Psychology today once dedicated an entire issue to the topic, which basically read as one big "don't do it".

I used to think that sticking your dick into a machine/doll was physically and emotionally retarded. But lately, it's been dawning on me... I already did do that. One of my Ex-es, it turned out, has no feelings. Like, never loved anyone, doesn't have empathy for living things, never seemed sad about her dead father, and has never had an orgasm in her life. Sex was a chore to her, but she gave it, and it was okay. I'm still rather reserved on the idea, but given enough sophistication and time, I …

Absolutely. The older gentlemen (60+) were raised red, the middle- aged (40+) were raised blue-ish but have had some experience to question their ways, and the youngsters (20+) are still, well, blue- eyed. Overall though, I think it still heavily skews towards blue. Society in general just seems to favor that, and most people want to comply.

As a New Yorker, I feel the need to chip in.. uh yeah she has a solid point. Times Square is quite possibly the least classy place in the entire city; it's full of tourists and people we unlovingly call "the bridge and tunnel crowd". God that looks horrible to put into writing ;/ but seriously you don't want to go to Times Square if you're out partying in the city.

If women were so superior in everything, why don't we have a woman- only NASA, wall street firms, medical research enterprises, etc? They'd have the upside and humanity would profit! I think the opposite of your statement is true. Women only need to be -2 sigma good compared to men in order to make it. I never found Tina Fey all that funny, but fair suggestion on your part. Does she write her own stuff?

Nice unpredictable reaction from Bill there, kudos. I actually have a bit of a hard time believing that women are "funny", as a group, to the level that men are. I've only once had a hilarious girlfriend, and I don't know of any good comedians. When I go to comedy clubs, women are more cringeworthy, making fun of stereotypical women things (baby fever, shopping, etc.). Not that there's anything wrong with it, mind you. I just don't think women evolved and are encouraged to be funny the way men a…

Big firms have diversity and women departments, whose sole job is to organize events, then blog about them. That is true for most subcultures. Black women are down with black or white men, Asian women are down with Asian and white men, etc.. Not a bad thing to be white when it comes to diversity of choice.

Companies certainly do hire "minorities" because it makes them look good, then host televised events showing off just how diverse and open minded they are. Never heard of affirmative action? And as for the "sit around" thing, at some level of management, you really don't have to do much except warm the seat.

Probably wasn't conscious and more like an epiphany of sorts. Imagine.. going from a ho- hum life with commute in an average US city (suburb perhaps) and a bluepill kind of guy... to awesome Australia! That's an extra- large blue suppository that this man has to take. Ouch. I feel like there's hope though. Being a 45- yo well-off professor sounds nice, and he could get some pretty young tail if he tried. What should he do though? I've been reading TRP for a few months and this is what I've condensed out: be single, seek other meaning in life be a bachelor, spin plates, yell "NEXT" downgrade your SO to keep the upper hand (one guy here said he married a 4) look for your personal unicorn .. just relaying what has been said. Personally, I do believe there are many nice women out there who want a meaningful partnership. Guess I'm a unicorner in TRP terms :)

Do yourself a favor and travel to the countries you mentioned My experience with women from poorer countries (Asia, Latin America) are mostly negative. Not surprisingly, my girlfriends with that backgroud cared exclusively about things, and concepts, like a stable life, greencard, etc. I don't blame them one bit. But I see them as incompatible now. They had low empathy (due to rough childhood is my guess), no love to give, and their commitment was conditional. One left me for richer grounds when…

Some arguments aren't like the others. For example: Because too many white feminists routinely lessen, negate, belittle, ignore, and erase the experiences of women of colour I'm not sure why the topic needed to be broadened like that, but it sounds like a problem with feminists, and not exactly an argument for a women's day.. Because when I search for stock images of “International Women’s Day”, I am bombarded with pink pictures of shoes, silhouettes of women dancing, cupcakes, flowers, and lips…

I've actually yet to hear "don't judge my lifestyle choices". It's almost always "a condition". What is often quite stunning is how nutritionally educated fat people are. Actually it's me who encourages them to think of me in a non sexual way. I consider it more like a badge of honour than disrespectful. If I did desire those women, this would all be awful, but that's not the case. And none of this impacts my success with the ladies. Quite the opposite - women make the best wingmen.

Another personal favorite is "intelligent". If you're really sharp, say something deep or funny instead of telling me how intelligent you are... I've yet to lean how to deal with these. She couldn't answer that, but she was livid....

If you're a white guy who likes black women in a US coastal city, then yes, I think you'll have a good time. I've dated quite a few black ladies from the East and West coast, all of whom said that they dated white guys exclusively. I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a thing you see on the streets all the time (like, e.g. White guy & Asian girl), but it's certainly possible. Not sure why you get downvoted; getting some basic cultural aspects right is the first step in the game. Eating like an animal, spitting on the street, or not using deodorant are things that women notice, and it will put guys at a serious disadvantage.

But not all fattivists are young. The few that I know are in their 40s and 50s. The denial in these people is astounding.. not only do they label themselves beautiful when they can't even wipe their ass (and as a result some smell like shit - not all, but some), but they see it as perfectly normal to be on all sorts of drugs and walk around with an inhaler.
