Fuck that noise. I dated a guy that always called me boring and whined that I was holding him back from crAzY fUn tImes, similar reasons to what this poor girl's being accused of -- for having a bed time, enjoying time alone, being an introvert, having responsibilities, being healthy ?? There's one thing between having a bit of personality differences i.e. being introverted and extroverted but these guys just want to party, but also don't want to date party girls because they are often unstable …

My ex was just like this -- he would leave bruises all over me from "roughhousing". Bit me so painfully and left deep purple marks many times. Would pull my hair, pinch, "accidently" hurt me so much. That psycho hated women, and hated me, and this guy does too. Ya CANCELLED ❌

So. Fucking. Accurate. Men cannot handle being fuckzoned. They'll literally try anything to wheedle their way in closer just to try to FWB zone YOU. And they can't handle when you FWB zone THEM. They only like to have it where they think YOU want more, and keep YOU tamped down with this abusive shit. It is 100% a dangling carrot of straight emotional abuse. I have zero time for this shit. 🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️

Man I live in the freezing cold of Canada and it's dead winter and I get dudes being like "um gee I don't know what we can do how about we go for a walk in the park" and it is deadass like -15 C , like they have one suggestion as if there's not one other activity to do in this city and get snippy when I'm like "bro no and also it's winter?" WElL whAt eLse dO yOu suGgesT , I just ghost at that point

I went on a date with a guy like this the other week. He spend so much of the date whining how "difficult" online dating is for men, how he never gets matches and is ghosted all the time and how easy it is for women. The HUGEST turnoff, ever. Immediate grounds for dismissal IMO.

I work in PR and my last date literally told me he hated PR because "people should just be honest and authentic and you know, PR and marketing just skews things" 😩🤪 and then wanted a second date Also went on a date with a police officer who wanted to go dutch because he was renovating his income properties and I "probably made more than him" I think they just hate women with stable jobs. Or women in general

Aww, I really love this post. It can be disheartening when it happens over and over - like there is something "wrong" with my behaviour when I KNOW it's negging. You articulated this really well. Thank you.

You're so right! I don't think there's any way I could act with these dudes that would be "good enough"

Like, what the hell is that ?! Yet , they have full respect for themselves for being DTF in these situations ? Or even worse, actively coercing and tricking women? Why do men get to be morally immune yet women are held victim to every scrote's Madonna/Whore complex?

OMG i know...it's insane. I am very keyed into noticing inconsistencies in patterns with dating (partially from long term relationships with narcissists in the past, partially because i'm quite observant) and this shit does NOT fly! How do men think this logic works? I swear they do not respect us in the slightest - I couldn't imagine them using this logic with a male friend or coworker.

Literally a great idea. I was so creeped out by his comment! I told my roomie and she gave me one of these faces 😬

Absolutely disgusting. Don't be mad at yourself, I've frozen countless times at this behavior, I've stayed in rooms overnight with men who have sexually assaulted me and coerced me because I was too scared/uninformed/young/stunned to do anything. You also don't have to "let it go," but keep it it your toolbox when navigating this patriarchal shitstorm of a world. Don't let it eat away at you, let it inform you and strengthen your actions in the future.

Gotta love it, the legal system doesn't do much for this kind of thing especially in my area, unfortunately

Lol, I'm getting private messages from men saying I must be making it up because I didn't report him to the police. Message for male lurkers: you must have no idea what it's like to be a woman, because as unfortunate as it is, it's very likely the police wouldn't have done much for me in this situation. I do encourage women to report this incidents to law enforcement, but it can be disheartening and discouraging to be looked at with skepticism and disbelief when reporting these things to authori…

So disappointing. She was truly unique with her style and keeping her sexuality out of the limelight to focus on her talent. This seems forced by higher ups, very sad, and very unnatural.

Ugh this is amazing. Can't even count how many weird male bosses I've had give me weird male boss looks/clap backs about period related issues at work. When I was 19 and waitressing I went to the bathroom, realized I started my period, and had to go grab a tampon and go back into the bathroom. My male boss confronted me and asked why I was going back to the bathroom right away all haughtily. I deadpanned him with - "well I'm on my period and need to put in a tampon, would you like to come with m…

I don't feel like that was the issue here, sounds like he was gaslighting her. If it was a one night stand or something really out of the ordinary for her to do, yeah, maybe I could see his issue and where he was coming from with his "sexual assault" angle. But you can't say that waking up someone who you've been having regular sex with by some touches is sexual assault all of a sudden because of mood his mood swing... Suddenly because he's pissy it's not ok? I had some narcissistic scrote pull …

Girl screw that- you have sex when you feel comfortable. If they're not ok with that they're not worth your time ! It takes me months to warm up and if a guy doesn't want to wait that out he can hit the road.

Yep, he also told me on the date he was so confused how a woman as gorgeous as me had so little confidence and was so shy....because I didn't immediately melt into him like butter when he tried to fuck. I just told him I wasn't comfortable with him and I didn't show that side until I was. He's like well, it just seems to me like you are unsure of yourself which is just so unusual for someone with your looks....gag.

The logic makes no sense to me! Why would a guy leave if sex looks a little more difficult than initially expected if he was actually looking for a relationship....unless...gasp...he was...lying?!

What kind of scrote would be so butthurt about someone not having sex with them on the third date? It's not like I said never and dumped him on the spot- so insecure under all that bravado , gross.

In what world would a woman beg for another chance after a "rejection" like that or was he planning to circle back around? What a doof.

my God- I don't know how he wanted me to respond. He said - "so we should hold off seeing each other"- almost like he was keeping the door ajar. I ripped him apart, deleted and blocked. So no door left. Scrote.
