Yes, I think they want to own one, and they have a fantasy that they can because they can travel to those countries and buy sexworker services. Hell, there’s even massage forums for almost every single city in the US where these gross men go to review the illegal prostitution massage parlors in the US which are almost exclusively Asian women, their names and what they look like... I don’t think they all are into gaming and such either! I was fooled by a seemingly HVM...I dated a wealthy doctor o…

I already fill my time, as you would know seeing you’ve read all the comments. I was looking for women to tell me what they did in these situations, again I don’t really think advice from someone who hasn’t is useful at all. Instead everyone took to dismantle what was an honest ask, I don’t understand why everyone was SO angry? There are nice and helpful ways to say things you’re saying in a constructive manner. And it’s not back pedaling, the situation IS more complicated so I was explaining (w…

Sorry I mixed up the authors! It’s called Why Men Don’t Love Women Like You by G.L. Lambert. It’s more focused on how to be a HVW and identify a HVM in many different scenarios. More about serious dating, but the HVW part has really helped me.

It’s just ridiculous it got way off topic, if someone doesn’t have actual experience in this position, what makes them think they are qualified to give sound advice? Because they read the handbook? I did too and still would like advice. Otherwise I wouldn’t be asking.

I want to believe that as well. Logically and intellectually it’s true, we don’t. But if we want to have a man fulfill an experience, then that is our choice and it’s not a lesser choice than someone who believes otherwise. I used the term “I have needs” note cause it’s a legit NEED but because it’s a commonly known phrase, and in the moment thought it was better than saying “I want to have sex” but now that I have to justify myself to nitpicky internet strangers who can’t understand a coloquial…

Yeah that’s one of the best ways to vet people say, but I haven’t really seen it happen unless both parties are in the market for a relationship. The way I see it, FDS has made me aware (and continues to do so) about red flags and how common things I thought were ok before are actually to my disservice and As a result of my own relationships and seeing where I went wrong I can fix it now. I don’t feel scared anymore to even cut a date short or stop talking to someone when a flag goes off. But if…

Good for you! I see it as an addition. But either way, as time goes on you may see you opinion change and grow depending on what’s happening in your life as I have. Not really the topic for this post.

Sorry, I meant I read it in one of RH Shein’s books that is FDS heavy.

Thank you for your advice and good wishes! not being in one place or even state is hard and confusing for sure when dating is involved.

This post is not about booking up. Although that’s all people are commenting on! I don’t agree with r/sex it’s a disservice. I’m asking for advice for women who travel to new places every couple months, it’s easy to say when it’s not your reality. STDs are real so I may choose not to try. Just wanted to see what ladies who HAVE experienced this do.

You’re absolutely right. I’ve never done the hookup game even in college so I guess I can see why this question comes off that way, but the reality is I miss going out and meeting people. I’m just not in a position to date seriously, I wish people would put themselves in my shoes but I can’t expect that so I was seeking advice from ladies in this situation. No constant stable place to be in a city. Maybe I’ll try dating for dates alone. I already network, make gfs, and go to meetups. Dates are f…

Nothing, really! That’s a lot of assumptions. I’m actually in the best place so far and happy with myself. I’ve been through a lot to be hung up on validation from anyone but myself. In theory I think so too, HVM are not likely to but some do. All in all this is all hypothetical since I haven’t been looking for men period so idk if what I’m asking IS plausible. I’m looking for advice from women in these situations specifically. I’ve only known men in these situations in the past.

I said needs, not all my needs. We are all different, however. Yes it takes time too. For me that time is less than the time I would take to vet someone when I’m in the place I would welcome a LTR.

Yes, it’s not black and white, like no vet or full vet in my view. I definitely agree, I wouldn’t keep sleeping with someone who left me feeling unsatisfied! That’s also why sometimes in these situations of moving a lot and not wanting a LTR in the time being, it’s a complete waste of time to vet a man only to come to find out he doesn’t care about your pleasure or is just not a good match in bed. As for the handbook, everyone should really think for themselves and be insightful while they read …

I obviously have one and take care of myself, always. I’m terms of HVM, like I already said, I don’t really care to ensure he is a HVM in any other sense than caring about my pleasure, and taking care of the dates as a gentleman would. It’s also more effort and mental energy to vet in the traditional sense as I already know I don’t want a LTR with. I won’t be in the same place for those months after the encounter, either. Maybe this is something that needs to be discussed in FDS as not every wom…

I can offer my story, it may not be what you’re looking for but I hope it helps. My story is one of mindset and personal and spiritual growth. I am not happy ever after, but I’m at the point finally in life where I don’t need to heal from every heartbreak or setback to live my life fully and engage positively in all aspect of my life. It took a lot of trial and error! First, what helps me the most is- realizing what is in my control and what is not. A lot is out of our control. Other people, how…

I guess that’s good in theory, unfortunately I don’t think most women would if they have kids already with someone. One of the reasons I’m not having kids anytime soon.

I don't really see the good advice in this? Why would I want to always be ready to leave someone? Doesn't make sense.

The same can be said about- loving yourself vs not being loving to yourself. Being authentic to yourself and not being authentic to yourself. So many ways she can word these ideas besides “energy” my main issue is that by making people believe they are always either protecting or not protecting their energy it takes away their power and puts you in a state of fear trying to decipher wether others or yourself are harming your energy at all times. When in reality your energy is not so easily threa…

YES! She literally just answered a question about why she doesn’t drink beer and if it’s because it’s not feminine enough. She said “yes, beer will work against feminine energy” like what kind of bull crap is that? She like so many others, fall prey to this “protect you energy” bs, she confuses fem energy for tangible things like choice of alcohol. Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, spiritual concepts are being misunderstood completely. Do you think source energy categorizers beer as mascul…

I like Anna but we have to realize she is very conservative and traditional. I’m part of her Fb group and I’d say maybe 50% of her followers are women outside the US who would be happy being a housewife to a wealthy enough provider. So, while her advice on etiquette is good, some advice (like not dressing like a “slut”) puts us back a couple decades. She never addresses topics like cheating and in one video she admitted many upper society men cheat and their wives know but keep it hush hush. Pic…

Disgusting! I saw MANY different men posting something along those lines when I was researching child trafficking cases and names of different kids or rings came up. Twitter and other sites are filled with these men trying to get their scummy fingers on abuse of minors.

That’s not what I was alluding to. I meant, if I go on a date with a man, realize he’s got a lot of profesional resources, how can I make the switch? This man, I would rather him be my profesional help. He asked if I wanted a mentor and I said yes, but he clearly wants to sleep with me. Is it possible, ofc I won’t sleep with him.

How do I not mix business with pleasure? To be clear, I in no way meet these men through my work or work events. I don’t tell them exactly what I do or what company, I like to keep some privacy, also I use a different name for professional purposes. If I meet a man through an app or go on a date with a man, how can I keep it business if it was originally a romantic meeting? I’m testing the waters now, to see if this man will connect me with said people before I sleep with him. But what else can …

Lifestyle, connections, and mentor ship. I’ve learned a lot about financials and how to acts from these men. Lifestyle is the one I struggle with the most...that’s why I’m not just falling for them easily like I used to. But they still have an impact on me, I just restrain myself much more, but it’s a challenge. If they think I’m too hard, they leave sometimes and I just tell myself I filtered a playboy out and move on. I don’t know if I’m right. I want love of course, but I really don’t think I…

I think it depends on what you want. My friend, she was close to 300 lbs and is now around 235, went from 0 attention to a lot of guys wanting to sleep with her but none that would see her as gf material, except for 2 that were narcissistic and manipulative. She admits now she's slept with men she didn't care for because she wanted validation, all her life she grew up with her parents saying "lose weight or you'll never get married." So you need to make sure you don't need anyone's validation bu…

I'm curious too! Can you give 2-3 examples of questions they've asked you? I've been on TRP before on here but every guy will tweak it to seem as non-TRP as possible, so I'm very curious. Would rather stay 1 step ahead and filter quick.

I know this was meant for guys, but when I read AA I thought of my condition Androgenetic Alopecia and how as a female college student it's kept me isolated from dating or meeting new people. This post made me feel somewhat more confident in my decision to possibly shave my head on New Years and continue with my life without this hair loss depression. To dive in, lol. Wishing you all luck! Even on things we can't change:)

12 is key! Whenever my best friend let's out "She's told me so much about you" or "I've heard good things" I try to quickly hide any signs of embarrassment when I like someone.

You're totally right. If it's someones default behavior/authentic way of being I see no problem to it at all. It annoys me when people have 1 thing work for them and post about it like it's some golden rule from a pick up artist. Which based on the language, is how this comes off. Although OP made no claim this was to get ass it sure sounds like since he went after 3 different girls. I'm also like you but I wouldn't do it to get dick since I'm someone who like a lot of my girl friends, gets emot…

This is too much. I feel like element of going up to a stranger and talking to them in a friendly way is nice though as people don't do it these days and it has a mystery feel to it. Ofc some of us wouldn't like it but its just based on who the girl is. For me if this happened I'd immediately be suspicious of some seduction tactic where I'm basically telling the guy what I like, so he can connect all the dots (like a fake psychic.) Especially if we just met and you're all of the sudden trying to…

YES I agree with you entirely. Since this is just for a FWB or one night thing, the smoke and mirrors stage isn't necessary.

Time would be saved if you just stated in your profile what you want. Not trying nitpick what works for you, I just don't want guys to think that's the only way that works. There are more natural ways that don't require a girl to go to a strangers apt before meeting him, even if they will end up there.

"only ever agree to meet exactly on your terms" is just inconsiderate and kind of manipulative. It would be much simpler to just be straight forward. You can have both a fun date and end it with sex. Honestly, if I just wanted sex on a first date and a guy wasn't taking my schedule/preferences into consideration I'd be turned off right away.
