This is only a thing for celebrities. If a woman celebrity wears a dress more than once, trashy tabloids and celebrity gossip shows will use it to attack them meanwhile men can rewear the same suits and no one notices or cares. This isn’t really a normal people problem

Very little people care if you rewear an outfit. Most of that stigma comes from tabloids and is directed at celebrities. Unless this woman is a celebrity, she’s complaining about a basically non-existent problem. But since shes generalized it about the whole of both genders, the men here assume this is a real thing and can use it as fuel to make generalizations about women being petty and shallow.
