5	This is an unacceptable way of treating your son Kids get disciplined for some random stuff all the time. Rarely is it actually bad. What these kids really need to be taught is to pretend to be rule-followers while keeping their spirit. The parents must, MUST be on their side in this... My spirit got destroyed at age 7 or so. Kids have their reasons, the problem with most parents is they never bother to understand those reasons, which is why most parents suck. Making a kid terrified of you is an idiotic form of parenting. No, because I'm happy to be able to go to a technical college and major in CS, while many years ago women were not even permitted in this same college. The fabric of society you speak of has very little value to some of us. I'm saying it happens so rarely compared to the amount of rape it's not worth getting fearful over (you are more likely to get into trouble with other things). From a woman's side, there's generally little point of reporting rape, tbh, it probably won't get anywhere because it's really hard to prove it was actually rape, people use the same arguments but in reverse, such as the famous "she said yes" or "she wore provocative clothing". The majority of real rape is not prosecuted and the rapists go free. Specifically, because there's "no evidence", because the victim wanted to take a shower. Rape is pretty hard to prove.
