1	Innocent men are innocent Things have value only because we as people believe they have value. I do get where you're coming from though. It's pretty damn hard to respect others who do not respect you. And when those people attempt to diminish me as a person, I usually don't want to even try. Making the members of the "other side" less human than "your side" is an ad hominem attack, it doesn't address the issues, using your arguments to reduce the opponent's "value as a person" stems from and leads to the ways of thinking that creates prejudice.
