I know you hitting the gym but if you are not eating enough calories or eating your macros right the progress will be slow. Sounds like you just got a high metabolism, this means if you lay off cardio and just eat a LOT with the right nutrient mix, you are looking at some solid gains. That's always the fortunate scenario because mental improvement possibilities are endless, people can't really change how they look all that much.
