Is a speech an effective medium for this kind of thing? Considering it is technically going to be a speech used for speaking out against SJWs and therefore, at its core, a speech about society, reform (your version of it), and social constructs, doesn't this almost negate point? Better to stick to your forums where you will be able to reaffirm your belief system based on the opinions of those around you.

I'm pretty sure OP had his heart broken and might be in need of a therapist. Hope you can turn this thing around man!

I guess I would just say reread your own post and consider why (in your own words) your father is left of center but rational while you are portraying your mother as a feminist extremist... and current political events aside, what may have propelled her to have this worldview that you consider extreme. Bottom line the way you worded your post is a reflection of the continued need for feminist perspectives.

Suffrage is the right to vote in general. Not specific to women. Your ignorance is probably due to the fact the white, property owning men, were somehow born with this right whereas others in America often had to struggle to obtain it. Also, you are forgetting the "power" which is via alternative avenues.

Just out of sheer curiosity what are "the facts" you speak of... While I understand that the feelings evoked from the word "feminism" may not be appealing to all and intersectional approach is a call to examine much more than the plight of women. I guess I am wondering what you see problematic about people meeting to discuss individual/ collective struggles....

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
