She said long term so I don’t think it’s really day trading. I doubt the entire idea of him having anything invested. If I were her i would try to look into where his money is going, because it‘s suspicious. Obviously it’s a boundary but if I’m paying for your shit I want to see your receipts.

As somebody who invests frequently, I genuinely doubt his investment story. No financially literate person would ever let themselves get into a situation where they have money invested and none to spend. Literally rule 1 is only invest what you can bear losing, after needs are covered and a decent savings acct is established. He has done neither. What’s the point of having 100k in 40 years if you can’t pay groceries today? If he actually does that, he does so because he counts on you to fall bac…

Lots of guys may see it as antiquated and like it puts too much financial responsibility on their shoulders. They may also think it’s a front that translates to I want to sit on my ass all day. These men probably haven’t had nor really been around SAHMs and so they can’t appreciate the effort it entails. In any case though, it’s not surprising that a lot of men would be averse to this idea, especially if they don’t make big money.

Being red pill does not mean simping for a man. The transaction should still be equal. From what you’re saying, it is not. Being a homemaker is valid, but any man that expects you to be one while working the same hours he does is just an asshole. You are worth more than this

This sounds like an extremely unequal power dynamic. My s/o also earns significantly more than me, but if we work the same hours we contribute the same to chores. It should be proportional to time put in, not money gained. Unless he’s putting more hours in at work to fund your lifestyle, you should be on equal terms.

If I may add, you mentioned you don’t have much experience with perfumes so I wanted to share key wisdom in finding a fragrance: don’t judge it just based on a spray into a paper or the air in a store. Apply it to your wrists and let it sit in for a few hours so you can see how it reacts to your chemistry. The initial smell of a perfume isn’t really what will be smelled half an hour after applying

Flowerbomb is great, Hypnotic Poison by Dior and Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl are perfect for date night (but also very bold so beware). Sì collection by Armani is worth to look into as well; my personal favorite is Sì Fiori (elegant, feminine floral that’s not too old), but Sì passione and sì intense is probably more in line with the seductive, night vibe. Armani Code collection is beautiful as well, I especially recommend cashmere and satin. L’imperatrice by D&G is also fantastic.

Way to strawman an argument. Different is not the issue. In fact, amplifying the demography to the world and even history as a whole, these ideas are nothing new.

Absolutely. As I would with Christian fundamentalism or the breeds of Catholicism seen in more hidden towns in Italy or Spain. Were you trying to imply some sort of anti-semitism? Or arbitrary preference for Islam??? What’s your pt?

Right, so centuries instead of decades “passé"

Straight facts. To be fair though, I live between Spain and Italy. In both the men are very Casanova-esque; dude 2 is closer to the norm. You’d think I’d find excitement in that pure tenderness as I’m so used to the opposite but 🤷🏼‍♀️

Also men may not have as much of a visceral, moral reaction to the thought of exploiting a power dynamic. Plus women are much more risk averse than men

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
