0	These are making the rounds today and many are saying they're exactly how all rape campaigns should be. What do YOU folks think? Because it implies that people always voluntarily become mentally and physically incapacitated when drinking. It's just not the case. The point where people become 'blackout drunk' is variable between day to day and dependent on a ridiculous amount of factors. The solution would be to not drink alcohol, or drink to government guidelines. It's just not a realistic suggestion for people whose social lives revolve around bars and parties. 3	This is getting out of hand Ah, I see; generally the first thing I do with people that won't stop pursuing me is ask a male friend to help. I have a story about a particular guy, actually! I had to do a cloakroom shift in work, and I had a batman tank top on. It was a grey one, and prompted a conversation with a young guy about batman (or batmen, as it happened). 6	This is getting out of hand I have quite an ample bosom (ahem) and I find both men and women stare out of curiosity a lot of the time. You just learn to deal with it, and I really can't understand women who let the girls out and complain when people stare. 2	This is getting out of hand I am a woman, hence the edit. I also work in a bar and commonly deal with unwanted advances, often from men old enough to have fathered me. I was immature when I began working there, and I would respond aggressively; more often than not, it just prompted more aggression, especially when drink is involved. Let's discuss a hypothetical stance, as a woman, from me. Say my stance on pregnacy is: "I would never get an abortion, but I do not feel that I would be able to raise a child on my own. 1	This about sums it up. Am I the only one of the opinion that 'prevention is the best cure'? Everyone has a responsibility to choose who they sleep with. These incidences should be discussed at the start of a sexual relationship, before these situations can present themselves. 1	This about sums it up. The allegory isn't very accurate. In many cases, if a reasonable woman opts to carry the child, the man is given a right not to be involved if he so wishes. You have a personal responsibility to be careful who you sleep with, in that you may possibly, no matter how narrow the margins may be, father a child with them. I had to report them for misandry for fuck's sake. Edit; not this post; a post claiming that misogyny (by which they mean any comment against their own beliefs) came from a 400lb man in a computer surrounded by empty Pabst and Dr. Pepper cans and packets of Marlboro.
