Are they though? Generally speaking, women are weaker than men in combat related tasks. Yes, some women can out perform some men. But generally speaking they cannot. And yes, women can become pregnant. That's science. So while they may be weak arguments, I'd hardly say they are very bad.

What are your experiences of talking honestly with others about how you feel? I used to feel the same way that I'd be criticized or ostracized. But I'm comfortable sharing and realized the boogy man under the bed doesn't exist. My experience has been nothing but positive since being open and honest.

The first 3 states I looked up, plus the UCMJ don't differentiate between male and female in regards to rape. It involves forced or unconsenting penetration, yes, but a female can force a male to penetrate her, thus rape happens.

I would say to be completely accurate you need to differentiate all 3. Proven rapes, unsubstantiated claims, and false accusations. The problem then is they will latch on to the unsubstantiated statistic as proof the legal system fails rape victims. Really a no-win situation. But saying an unsubstantiated claim is equal to a false accusation would be just as misleading as the fake stats they use.

I'm actually kinda for this. While I agree it should be gender neutral, the basic premise that consent was for protected sex and some people out there think it's OK to go against those wishes and pull an okey-doke is the very definition of sexual assault. It's not just women either. Other adolescent boys shame the intact boys as well. Women seem to grow out of it, while men do not. I do see this as a changing culture though. Women just caught on faster.
