3	Denied It uses about 10% of the global electricity. Because of climate change, this number is going up fast. Ironically, thus accelerating climate change. Also, the energy needed to cool a room is exponentially to the difference to the outside temperature. Just a few degrees more would drastically reduce the energy needed.
