I can agree with you broadly, that yes it does exist, but based on everything I've read, it seems to be incredibly isolated and nothing systemic. The one example you give, nursing, you couldn't be more wrong about. Men are paid more in nursing, despite there being a huge difference in ratio between the sexes; women out number men.

You're getting downvoted but are correct in a sense; but many jurisdictions view pets as property, not full on life forms like humans. Then again, we allow mutilation of infants with circumcision too.

There are federal laws in place to protect against discrimination. This lawsuit is alleging said discrimination on many fronts. If you're getting that from the lawsuit, I suggest you go back and reread it and apply it to not only federal law, but also California's own laws.

Equal treatment is being treated as the company wishes. They want to maintain a benefit from being a majority. None of that is remotely true and I again have to ask where you're getting this idea from. Then again it probably doesn't matter as you're a brand new account, much like the other ones with downvotes here, pushing the exact same narrative.

It's someones shill account. Look at the account age. Now look at the comment karma. It's someone who spends all day sitting in r/politics, happening to get in early enough with comments to reap the karma.

Is this what men want now? To force companies to treat them special, or cry about it and sue? Where are you getting this from? Men aren't asking for special treatment, they're asking for equal treatment.

I like how we're getting downvoted for not reeeeing over the fact that feminists are hypocrites. I think generally speaking people complaining of sexism and whatever else over actors being objectified for things they choose to be a part of is a bullshit position regardless of gender. This sub needs to learn that not every battle is one we should take up.
/r/MensRights03/11/17 08:01 PM

Part of how we value celebrities is based on their appearance. If they don't want to be objectified, they shouldn't take roles that objectify them.

There's a thing called common decency. It's the same reason it's weird to stare at whatever scantily-clad women ( or men if you're into that) in public or at the beach. That's not in line with the context of this discussion. This point is moot. We're supposed to restrict our basal animalistic desired because we're supposed to be above that kind of thing. Attractive actors/actresses shouldn't be treated like meat when they're asked to model or strip down for a photo shoot or something. You couldn…

I don't understand what's wrong with objectification. If you put int he effort to look that good, why do you expect people to not notice it and not appreciate the fact that you look that good? Sure, in that moment you're a piece of meat, but that's purely a biological response. We, as a species, fuck each other because we objectify each other, imagine how we look naked and the things we'd like to do. I don't feel bad for anyone for using their looks to get a head in life. I'm also not some jealo…

Part of being a leader is the ability to help others grow, and nothing should stop you from doing that just because they don't work directly under you. I'm not suggesting you take this guy under your wing, but a friendly chat with him will go a long way to helping him and fostering a positive work environment. It also makes you look good to those above you.
/r/MensRights21/08/17 01:08 PM

Once you get your leadership spot settled in, start coaching the other guy who is a push over. If you're in charge of the work he does as well, make it clear to him that she needs to learn her job and for him to not go out of his way to help her if she absolutely refuses to learn. Hold him accountable for it as well. He has his own work to do. Write the chick up as often as you can and with enough write ups, shit can her.

Look, you really haven't said anything with any substance. Your whole shtick here is, "listen to me screech!", and you continue to do it. It's old and tired. Just in case anyone is wondering, here is how I know they're a sad, pathetic, SJW. Though their initial attempts at what I guess they assume is intelligent dialogue left me wanting as well.

I see you ran out of energy already. If you're going to make attempts at insults, and let's be honest yours were absolutely pathetic, you need to try much, much harder. Maybe you'll find the energy to screech louder. Really, it's all you have.

That may be true, but they definitely have had a noticeable impact on the website over the past few years. It's also clear the owners of Reddit are SJW's. Twitter does the same shit too. They claim to be a place for free speech, but what they really promote are their own narratives, and that promotion of said narrative gets worse as time goes on.

That's a valid criticism of Voat. If and when it does become big enough, handling server load shouldn't be an issue. We can see how people enjoy Reddit enough to support it monetarily. I imagine the same thing would happen with Voat if it ever gains that type of popularity. Just going by Alexa rankings, Voat has definitely increased traffic in the past 9 months. Going from near 15k to just a little under 10k.

I haven't posted on Reddit in a couple months now. I can even say I really never used this sub. I, however, have been following Reddit's censorship and ongoing, tacit approval of harassing people they don't like. This sub may not get shut down, but if it wasn't clear to anyone before, it should be now. Reddit does not like anyone who isn't a part of their narrative. Not only does this story have fuck all to do with Mens Rights, talking shit on a guy who thought he was doing the right thing by helping a person in need makes you an asshole. The real kicker is the author tried comparing this to victim blaming. This women was not psychologically abused, emotionally abused, or physically abused. She had no reason to fear for her safety or life. Taken that into consideration, she was, at all times, in charge of her own actions. There was no moments where she could freeze up. It's a false comparison. I wouldn't let something like that go on for three years, but that's because I don't tolerate harassment.

I stopped playing Blizzard games about 6 to 8 months ago. They are no longer a good company in my eyes. Sure, they make products that appeal to a lot of people, so in a sense they make "good" products, but all they do is pander to the lowest common denominator and their games really suffer for it. Fuck Blizzard.

Apparently he's a racist because his ex-wife claimed he didn't like Jews. Too bad Milo is probably the most famous personality Breitbart has and Milo is a Jew! Everything else I can find about his apparent racism is that he embraces western nationalism (but everyone wants to call it white etho-nationalism), he's an avid Trump supporter, and he considers himself to be a part of the alt-right (which people keep trying to pin racism on but again, it embraces western values, not white nationalism). …

I'm not entirely sure it's a small portion of feminists though. This is the type of stuff third wave feminism teaches people, and many of them gobble it up. I'm sorry that you're going through this. I know I'm late to this conversation but here's my two cents anyway. I've read your responses here to get better context to everything. Tell your daughter to find a major that she can get marketable skills with, or fund her own college education. I'll say that women are more likely to be victims of crime and victims of domestic violence. So... we can talk about unfair sentencing but we also have to talk about the victims. Looking at the domestic violence statistic that google initially gives, the difference is only 8% different. 1 in 3 for women vs 1 in 4 for men, or 33% vs 25%. I wouldn't consider that a huge difference. As for unfair sentencing is concerned, the whole system needs an overhaul. It should not be gender based at all, as g…

First let's talk about the sentencing system for crimes. Men, on average, serve more time for the same crime as women because men are seen as "more violent" despite there being no evidence that men are actually more violent. Sure, Men statistically speaking are stronger than women due to biology, so our propensity to do more damage could theoretically be higher than a woman's, but modern technology pretty much makes that a moot point. As a male, if you're a victim of domestic violence, police la…

The entirety of the attacks against Trump this election has rarely focused on the issues, but instead of unsubstantiated sexual assaults claims, and largely about racism that doesn't exist. I've never understood the penchant for wanting to touch some strange child. You have no idea what if the parent has bathed them or anything. I'm going to point this out since no one has here specifically. Milo often uses comedy to make his inroads. I'm going to paraphrase Milo's thoughts on the use of comedy here, but essentially he feels that once the laughter dies, all of the bad things when it comes to our rights have taken root. Comedy is also a good tool at disarming people to get them to reconsider their opinion on a topic. Milo uses comedy to great effect in his speeches. If anyone actually takes his "feminism is cancer" as a …

But this is not about emotions this is about human rights. And when people like you are so callous about human rights violations, I hope it's understanding that this makes people emotional. My point was that you were using an illogical appeal to emotions to either make your points, or color them in with hyperbole to gain support. I was merely critiquing the way you went about expressing your idea. This does not mean it is for or against human rights violations. Secondly, you have no basis, yet a…

Pointing out that someone has the audacity to contradict widely held notions does not mean you hold the contradictions to be true. You are just merely a bystander at that point saying, "hey, this person doesn't agree". Calling male circumcision can be construed as mutilation, or it can be construed as a medical procedure. It's about context here. You're purposely using the word mutilation to invoke and emotional response. I'm not going to get into FGM because that procedure is entirely for ensur…

For people like you and Milo it's not about your own dicks, it's about the dicks of other people, and that is wrong, no matter how much mental gymnastics you do around it. Speaking of mental gymnastics, nice strawman argument you set up there? You're assuming that they're for circumcision without them actually stating it here. I don't disagree with any of your points. I will, however, submit that we all need to be careful to not go full blown MGTOW or Redpill either. Many of their proponents advocate for generalized misogyny. If we find generalized misandry to be bad here, we need to treat that the same way. Women aren't evil, and I think we understand that, but sometimes, sometimes some people here forget that. I would consider that a bit of a cultural faux pas. The majority of real trans people aren't going full retard like this. They want to be labeled as the opposite sex and even go through life style changes to suit that need. If any trans person wants to go through this nonsense, they're either a fake (transtrender), or really in the minority of an otherwise minority group.

You are in the minority of a minority group. Trans people suffer from gender dysphoria. Hence their biological sex and brain chemistry don't match up. They overwhelmingly want to be the opposite sex, not labeled as something else entirely. Nice try, try again.

Any successful club or bar will cater to women for two reasons. It attracts women, which means more customers. If they feel safe there, they will go there. It brings men into the bar, which means more customers. The men will go where the women are at. If they act like douches, they get ejected. There are many support roles in the military and this is what we need to keep in mind. There are women, although few and far between, who would be able to endure the physicality of a combat role. This post pretty well sums up a recent r/AskReddit post where women asked men what they didn't know about men. One of the things that kept coming up was the lack of emotional support men have, and how we have to be stoic at all times. If you're anti-tradition, that's fine. But that's no more rational or objective than people who are pro-tradition. It's definitely not discriminatory, as people enjoy tradition. If you two want to get married, you need to decide which parts of the traditional courting that you do like, don't like, and even go further with that in the marriage planning. Then find a compromise. I hate it when people turn this into an MRA or feminist issue. Maybe she doesn't want a diamond ring. Maybe she wants something that comes from the heart, something that had actual thought put into it. Have a discussion with her, and compromise. If you can't do that here, your future marriage is al…

They are getting knocked down one by one, but the problem is that the MSM isn't covering it. The Podesta emails released by Wikileaks shows clearly that MSM has been working with Hillary's campaign, and they have been doing so since the primaries, possibly even before that. Yet, people want to believe these allegations are true because Trump dares to say politically incorrect things.

Still with that bullshit? You're blaming Trump for policies that our politicians have enabled. Good for those companies that wish to stay here. In some instances, those companies simply can't afford to leave the country. Try taking out your anger at the very politicians who never work for our benefit. The current system is broken and the only other major candidate is a fucking criminal who subverts democracy at every turn. So, fuck off with your bullshit you fucking shill. No one is buying it.

Yeah, you're right, it is totally Trumps fault he had the ability to do all of these things. It has nothing to do with the policies enacted by our leaders that ultimately made these choices sound fiscal choices at all. If the political powers that be don't like American business people doing these things, then they shouldn't have policies that enable these things. It's dumb to begrudge the man for taking advantage of the very things that we would take advantage of if given the chance.

Let's be honest here. Politics polarizes our country between democrat and republican. These are the two major parties held by the majority of the voters. /r/MensRights11/10/16 10:59 PM

This whole article is about women's education globally. You can't compare the west to the rest of the world and just assume those statistics will be useful. In third world countries where there's a real problem men will disproportionally have more education than women. They also suffer other issues, such as classism, but it depends on the region. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing for women to be brought closer to parity in other areas of the world.

Is this the argument you really want to use for consent? Stepping outside of this situation for a moment, people misread signals quite often and go in for the kiss. Should we condemn them as sexual deviants? Inside of this situation, there's plenty of women who throw themselves at power and wealth, and would find the attention quite welcome. Years? Does she have other channels besides this one? All I see on this channel is content going back a few months.

After watching a few videos, the lady narrator in these videos has a new subscription.

People do the shit talking because MRA's have a strong dislike towards third wave feminism. Society, for whatever reason, still views feminism as a force of good. Very few modern feminists speak out against the ills of what a lot of the radical portion of their movement does, so you have people butting heads all over the place.

I feel sad for people like this. They've probably gone through some terrible shit in their life, never sought help, and channel all of what they're feeling through anger.

I honestly would like to take feminism seriously. It's hard to take it seriously when all they do is blather on how men don't fit into their stereotyped gender role, while women are free to do what they want. If feminists want negative masculinity attacked and broken down, wouldn't the correct solution to be not condoning stereotypes in the first place? I think gender roles are shit and people in general should be free to do what makes them happy as long as they don't hurt anyone in the process.

I would have called her an asshole for taking the opportunity to try and turn the sub into something it's not. There's a time and place for everything. I wish people would understand this.

This is what makes this issue so damn difficult. I want people to have body autonomy, but in instances like these where I helped the person create something, I also want to have a say in the outcome of it. I was a part of the process, and when you do things like this, you know you're taking the risk that this could happen. Both people are taking that risk. If my inclusion was important enough at the conception of it, why is it no longer important when you (rhetorically speaking) decide that you …

The users of Reddit make no sense. I perfectly understood your position when I read this stuff when you originally posted everything.

I must say, well played on the devil's advocate thing. You certainly stuck pretty hard to the written word of the law approach while everyone else is concerned with the spirit of the law. I think you might have slipped up once or twice, perhaps on purpose as a subtle nod to what you're doing, but I'm fucking impressed that you held your ground here. Sometimes fighting the opposing idea is a great exercise in understanding why we feel the way we do. You have given me new insights, but unfortunate…

Your conclusion makes absolutely no sense in context to what /u/KrogerPornStar is saying. They're definitely all for no one being charged. We don't need to speak about equality here when it's clearly obvious that the spirit of the law isn't even being followed. Sometimes the issues are beyond gender issues and more to do with shitty humans being shitheads.

In the US it is considered assault.

It's a shame that in this day and age we can't take people for their word alone and that be enough. In this instance a DNA test is the only reasonable outcome so you don't walk into that situation blindly.

Certainly, her being the first female president in the US would be a historic point, as was Obama being the first black president in the US is a historic point. What's maddening is that early in her campaign it was her only talking point. Her gender has no basis on her ability to do her job and it's completely irrelevant.

Very eloquent. I wanted to say these things, but I would have written an incredibly long wall of text. You hit all of the necessary points succinctly.

Hey, way to address my point about your comment of civilized society. You just go ahead and keep blame shifting though.
/r/MensRights10/09/16 01:01 PM

If our society was so civilized as you point out, people wouldn't be assaulting other people by spitting on them. They would call out their ideas and discuss with them why they're wrong. They would have an actual conversation. All your doing is blame shifting the situation. If someone assaults me, I have every right to defend myself. How I defend myself depends on the situation.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
