I get it brother, but even good friends, if they spend a lot of time together, can start to wear on each other's nerves after a while. It's not worth losing a friend over and it seems to be causing you a shit ton of stress. I'd take the money you pay him for rent and get a one bedroom apartment until you're on better footing.

You should get different temporary arrangements. He's allowing you to stay there but it seems like he thought you'd be out by now and it's causing friction, that or he changed his mind after the fact. Have you gotten a job in the four months to speed up getting back on your feet?

Get a punching bag, start doing meal preps, wake yourself up stupid early and exercise or learn a new trade (for me stocks). Start exerting control over your new situation. It will help. Go to sleep earlier, give yourself a routine, hard time tables you have to meet. This isn't the end of your story, it just really sucks right now.

It was tried as a reason I shouldn't get equal custody, judge was a veteran though, it didn't stick.

Not sure if this can help, but I met with several attorneys. The last one I met with was overweight, disheleved appearance, had an office that wasn't kept, was not impressive. He came off as a dickhead......I did not hire him. I found him abrasive, crude, and downright combative. I talked to several people that own their own business, and they all had the same response....hire the the dickhead, because he doesn't like losing. After months of email correspondence from her attorney and him (I was …

Prepare for a divorce. The biggest mistakes I made were giving my ex time, believing her when she talked about custody, finances, etc. It was all just a ruse to let her line up all of her dominoes, and hit me with them when I didn't have the time or resources to deal with them. This was her intention all along, and I fell for it. You don't have to pull the trigger by filing first, but you need an attorney and you need to start coming up with multiple courses of action, including documenting what…

For what it's worth, mine was a waste. I'm still not entirely sure if it was my ex or her attorney that ended up sabotaging the process, but after four hours of back and forth in separate rooms, we walked without reaching an agreement on ANYTHING. For the mediators part, he was pretty good, trying to hammer out an agreement on child custody and such, so that it wouldnt be an issue if we ended up going to court later. This is somewhat seldom known, you can hash out issues without agreeing to ever…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
