The term "sperm donor" feel quite right in this situation, the term evokes more of a feeling of casual anonymity and involvement. The article does touch on this so i'll give it that

This is what it takes to actually get a woman charged with rape I guess

The 16% figure is accurate for the US, but that’s across all custody decisions, inside or outside a court.

I’m aware of general custody decision statistics, I’m looking for the statistics on the 9% of custody decisions that are actually made in courts.

He’s served his time for his previous offenses, why are those relevant to now? Choudary actively advocated murder and general violence through his support of the Islamic state, you cannot say the same of Robinson.

You disagreeing with someone, no matter how emphatically and dramatically, isn’t grounds for imprisonment without crime and rape.

some highlights *the first whole page of the article is just the author listing a bunch of "assumptions". Which the writer deems as all sexist, even though many of them are arguable points *none of these are actually things the author of the memo said *doesn't link to the memo at all even once *even when actually directly quoting the memo writer, does not provide the sources that he offered to support the claims she is quoting. *spends the entire rest of the article breaking down the "sexist ass…

look at this u/fullmetalbri and her comment history. This is her first time ever commenting in this sub, it seems pretty obvious that she's being hyperbolic on purpose to make us look bad.

There are 3 types of workplace discrimination covered by California law that could possibly apply. Is this guy was a manager or executive of some kind who enacted discriminatory policies? No he's not so that throws that out the window. Was he harassing people? Since all he did was electronically distribute his opinion to a wide array of his coworkers, that doesn't apply. Was he creating a hostile work environment? By any thorough reading of what he wrote it sounds like he was the one working in …

this week on things that aren't the same: striking for reasons of improving working conditions/pay/benefits & not coming in to work because your feelings were hurt by something an employee said.

i would hope that we're better. We don't ban people for having "wrong" opinions.

Simple, mandate implantation of an IUD or similar long term birth control method for the duration of their service.

I take back my comments about you shilling earlier, we agree much more than I originally thought. Sorry for the insult. I agree with everything you wrote in this comment

Stop shilling for r/menslib, they support patriarchy, theory, gender theory, the concept of toxic masculinity, and loads of other garbage that is deeply misandric and links back to the worst parts of feminism. No matter how many people go to drink at that well, I'm not gonna forget that it's poisoned. And neither should you. I agree with the sentiment that r/mensrights has really gone downhill in a lot of ways in the last 6 months, but I can believe that you can advocate r/menslib as a healthy r…

Classified as a form of emotional abuse, the legal definition is broad as fuck (as is usual with laws like that), so it's just another tool for women to have legal privilege and power over men

I was there and it was excellent in my opinion. I think the format of the film lends itself more to people less well versed in the issues, which is why I think it went away from dissecting the minutiae of everyone's arguments and points. I think why the interviewing tone might seem odd is that these interviews were all done in one go, but almost certainly not in the order they appear in the movie. Personally one interesting takeaway I had was that I don't think besides me that there were any peo…

I would say that it's a level zero priority for both candidates as per usual. Hillary is indebted to the feminist lobby obviously but I don't believe she has any genuine motivation or belief in the dogma beyond what she needs to recite to insure she gets elected. Trump represents the very old guard of gender politics, he doesn't seek to fight gender stereotypes that harm men, he embraces and exacerbates them. TLDR: Hillary is the same shit as always in terms of presidents, Donald trump would be …

I donated 25$, gotta have that digital copy! I'm actually super excited for this movie, that she's received so much pushback from academia and the socjus community just makes me want it more.
