I had some military friends fall for Turkish women. They are beautiful and classy as hell and make great wife materiel as long as you're willing to stay in Turkey close to her family, but bring her to the states away from her family and the woes begin. I heard the same story from more than one soldier. The scuttlebutt is that some foreign women don't transplant so well because of their cultural values. This is a goddamned shame. As a banged-up, 23-year retired veteran of one war and several conflicts, fuck whoever came up with this - and fuck everyone who up-voted it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
