Yeah, therefore trying to re-engineer the flawed hormonal contraceptive methods for men is a wrong approach from the get-go. Physical methods such as RISUG and Vasalgel are far simpler, last ~a decade for effectively the cost of a syringe, don't alter hormones levels and are usable for men and technically also women.

It's mostly women that are misinformed or that don't want to face the fact that over half century of research and development was almost completely focused on giving women options for reproductive control, with next to nothing being done for men. The non-funding of RISUG and Vasalgel outside of India is a prime example of this. And before people tout vasectomies as reversible again: It depends, is very costly, and there's still the chance of years to decades of debilitating pain (PVPS).

Actually, the whole report is worth a read. Whether or not filicide is included in the reported statistics can vary state by state, but I think counting all abuse related fatalities is a better metric anyway.

You still haven't explained how mutilating your child is a "right" that the state can strip away. Bodily integrity on the other hand is a right I can easily justify. Also, by your logic, any law that restricts anyone's freedoms (even if it protects another one's rights - like in this discussion) is communism. So it sounds to me that you are a hardcore anarchist. Reminds me of a story I read a week ago of a MIL trying to pull back the foreskin of a baby to clean it. It seems people in the US often don't have the knowledge that it's usually fused to the glans with cartilage connective tissue after birth similar to the one connecting your fingernails to your finger. And we see forcefully removing fingernails as horrid torture for a reason. edit: cartilage may be the wrong word here (non-native speaker)

Well, maybe she didn't want it to happen an hour before it happened, but was totally OK with it when it happened. Maybe she means she didn't want it to have happened afterwards. If you take her statement literally it just means that at sometime (which may or may not have been during the incident) she didn't want "something" to happen.

In certain subcultures there is a stigma attached to go reporting murder. It's called being a snitch. I agree with you that there's a stigma attached to go reporting rape, but that mostly affects males in my experience. Women usually have an extraordinary amount of support in that regard.

IMHO the two logical consequences you propose are only logical for self-centered women as we have clear evidence of, on average, worse outcomes for children of single parents. If a woman cares about her child(ren) at least as much as about herself she will consider raising it/them together with another parental figure.

Yes, unfortunately the diversity summit was not recorded and no one of the organizers took his concerns seriously or told him why he's wrong or entered any form of discussion with him. I simply become skeptical when people refuse to talk with other people that may just have issues understanding their reasoning and instead choose to misrepresent and call opprobrious epithets.
