2	What fields do feminists need to leave ASAP? From a workplace perspective most would say HR since direct connectivity with hiring policy and culture. But a few people in this thread have mentioned education / schooling, which is arguably a precursor. I'd be curious how things would extrapolate across this sub, but if I take a step back and think about the conversations I've had both online and offline over the years - a lot of the men that share our opinion or a similar one, they've come from environments that either didn't have a strong male role model or had one that was 'compromised' somehow. 1	Online dating makes women devalue men The social engineering angle is an interesting one. Do we shape the media or does the media shape us. If you look at tv shows or adverts from past generations then the social dynamic is very different I'm not sure if that was reflective of societal roles or if it defined them. I forget the exact stats but I've seen them plenty of times here and it's just a heavy skew towards the top 10% of men getting 90% of the attention, whereas the selectiveness of men (or rather the lack of it) means the 'top 50%' of women get similar attention Market forces i guess, but it's still possible to meet the old fashioned way. 1	For those of you who have traveled extensively… Voting for Indonesia. Definitely a man's world. Women generally serve and either openly permit mistresses or plead ignorance, as examples of male privilege. Does come with certain downsides - e.g. typical to give your professional wife a 'salary' each month.
