Possibly in this particular case he had been suspicious for a while and refrained himself from becoming too close to the girl. He doesn't have much choice either way. He obviously don't want to stay with this woman, and he's not going to get any custody of the girl as he's not the father, nor was he married to the mother.

The "problem" is that for every few low effort screenshot, there's a screenshot of someone on Twitter saying something absolutely benign and discriminating towards men with thousands if not hundred thousands of likes. But I agree, we should aim higher, or else it would be pragmatic hypocrisy. Remember to speak up on and downvote low effort posts.

Sure, there are extremes. But these men don't have the mainstream influence which the feminists have. And I see among my social circles that it's becoming more and more prevalent for people, especially young women to hold these semi extreme views. Have you ever tried to bring up men's rights in a young crowd? It's suicide.

It's making a point, it's just the effort being put into it which is the problem. As far as I know, false rape accusations against women are essentially non existent, but if it happens it certainly shouldn't. The reason why a lot of things here are phrased in a gender specific way is because the public discourse either purposely or by ignorance exclude men.

Both could go. Twice as many people. Could only be an advantage. Anyway, you don't just send your man down to face potential intruders. Just because he's a man doesn't mean he has any knowledge or the abilities to fight someone, nor disarm any potential weapons. Unless one of you are trained to handle a situation like this, if you think there's actually an intruder, you try to find a way out and call the police.
