Your example of West Virginia is very telling. White workers in that state have been extremely racist since basically forever. Black and white workers having solidarity is the exception there, not the rule. Whites there are happy to vote against their own interests just so Black people don't get treated fairly. Ok, here goes: 1) I've never loved the term, but I've called myself that in a few situations to stay out of hot water, especially in situations where people know I'm trans. Feminism hates trans men and often hates trans women, but we can't say that in polite company. Feminists' straight boyfriends don't have to be feminists, but if a random trans person isn't a feminist, they're in a for a nasty surprise. 2) TBH the definition of feminism I hear is more about "liberation" and "intersectionality"…

A lot of it is because a lot of left-wing feminists consider gays oppressors (just search "cis gay men" on twitter and find out) and bisexuals part of The Queer Community TM.

Trans man here. Cis and trans women feel entitled to my body and my life. Feminism doesn't want people like me to exist--I'm unapologetically an Oppressive Gender, and I'm not even attracted to women! I've betrayed the female gender. And gay men and binary trans men are treated like shit by the LGBT community because of feminism and homophobia.
