| 2 | Found out my recently married friend paid off all of his wife's student loan debtThe secret is... there isn't an angle! I'm not physically deformed or have any disabilities. He has a good relationship with his parents, the only thing is she wants grandchildren in the next 5 years which is not happening lol. We became friends first and then it turned into a relationship. The funny thing is, we met during a robotics class and started talking about video games. We agreed to meet up to play some old school n64 and I beat him in about 4 out of 5 games of OG super smash bros hahha… | /r/MGTOW | 01/07/18 11:02 PM |
| 1 | Found out my recently married friend paid off all of his wife's student loan debtYou're absolutely right there. I think that focusing on your own true passions is the way to go. Even though I'm in a happy relationship I still hold the belief that you can be happy being single as much as you can being in a relationship. What people say is to follow your passion or hobby and hopefully meet someone but I think it's pretty idealistic. A lady like me wouldn't be out clubbing or partying, she'd be at home playing video games or doing something else. I think it's hard, I don't have… | /r/MGTOW | 01/07/18 10:49 PM |

| 1 | Found out my recently married friend paid off all of his wife's student loan debtHe is very cute! You got me :P Do you want to see a wedding photo? We started dating in high school and then went to the same university together. | /r/MGTOW | 01/07/18 10:25 PM |
| -1 | Found out my recently married friend paid off all of his wife's student loan debtThank you mate! I do identify as a feminist by the dictionary definition where I think men and women should be treated equally. I don't support the idea that men should support a woman after marriage or vice versa. Society puts a lot of pressure on men to be the breadwinners and be the only or main mean of financial support and I think it's wrong. I believe that feminism helped me realize that I can reject traditional gender roles and be what I wanted to be: an engineer. | /r/MGTOW | 01/07/18 09:13 PM |
| 3 | Found out my recently married friend paid off all of his wife's student loan debtI appreciate your compliments, thank you. I don't see what I did as generosity towards the man I love but more as teamwork. When we got married everything we had was put into a pot and neither of us cared as to who earned more as long as we were living within our means. I identify as a feminist because I believe that men shouldn't be expected to provide for a woman when they get married or vice versa. The interesting thing is, most judges (66%) are men making those decisions against other men in… | /r/MGTOW | 01/07/18 09:03 PM |
| 1 | Found out my recently married friend paid off all of his wife's student loan debtOkay, is this enough photographic evidence? Ironically, I came here because a commenter in this thread was commenting on a trollxchromosomes post and I saw the title of this thread and thought it would be interesting as I was a person on the other side of the coin. | /r/MGTOW | 01/07/18 07:08 PM |
| -1 | Found out my recently married friend paid off all of his wife's student loan debtMy husband is going for a PhD so he is only making a TA's salary right now ( about 21k) and I'm making more than triple that. He was in grad school when we got married. What mattered to me was that he was very ambitious, smart, and going after his dreams. His eventual goal is to become a professor which I think is a respectful goal. I thought about investing the savings we had but the most of the loans were at 7-8% and I thought it would be best to pay them off first. | /r/MGTOW | 01/07/18 06:42 PM |
| -1 | Found out my recently married friend paid off all of his wife's student loan debtI don't deny that I am a tiny minority but I do exist and I happened to stumble upon this post. I'm happy to provide evidence or give more information if you don't believe me. My husband chose to go to graduate school for a PhD so he's getting paid a TA's salary right now ( about 21k per year) and I moved out here and got a job as a mechanical engineer after gettingy bachelor's. I am aware that it will take some time for him to become a full fledged professor ( his goal) and to start earning clo… | /r/MGTOW | 01/07/18 06:32 PM |
| 1 | Found out my recently married friend paid off all of his wife's student loan debtI did the same thing for my husband who had more than $20k in debt. We both work but I earned more than triple his salary as a mechanical engineer. It was easy to work as a team and am very happy the debt is gone. I knew about the debt and the amount before going into the marriage so it wasn't a surprise. We are very happy together. I know this isn't what you want to hear but it is possible to find a hard working spouse to partner with to be stronger together. | /r/MGTOW | 01/07/18 05:54 PM |
