How is this WW3? NATO won't get into the fight at all, that's already clear because most NATO members don't even care, Germany won't even support economic sanctions against Russia let alone military force. Not to mention the vast majority of NATO members would immediately veto any NATO involvement. And Russia won't go beyond parts of Ukraine and attack NATO because they have no need/use. The US has ruled out using force against Russia already.

That still leaves all the power in the hands of the person sending the picture as doing so will still lead to an investigation and possible conviction. "Reasonable knowledge" is not set in stone. So yes, in all instances where there is a criminal proceeding, the person sending the photo should still be convicted of a crime. In cases where no criminal investigation occurs and no charges are pressed, nothing should happen.

That is how IT HAS TO BE because OTHERWISE you have cases like this where the person sends pictures to another person and the receiving person goes to jail or gets convicted. The legal system in the certain US jurisdictions has given children the ability to send anybody to jail by sending them photos of themselves.

What is this based on? I would like to know what expertise people in war zones or refugee camps have on actually FIXING problems. There is no good argument for the discrepancy between these. There are good arguments for why there is/should be a discrepancy in gender based pricing when it comes to health vs auto insurance. For one, with health insurance, a person's life or a child's life may be at stake and at the very least, it isn't fair to the unborn child to potentially be left uncovered by insurance because their mother couldn't afford it. I would take school shootings as an example. Would you feel sympathy for the parents of children that died? Of course. The gender doesn't matter. We feel sympathy for people who are still here and suffering. In fact, you see the parents crying everywhere, TV, newspapers etc. and they get a lot of publicity because that is where the sympathy sort of goes right after that kind of incident.

My gym has the same thing. It is really weird because it is a separate room kind of in between a lot of other things with a bunch of separate equipment that isn't otherwise used. But as others have pointed out, the article makes it clear that the woman isn't a teacher, she is only referred to as a staffer. A teacher engaging in such stupid behavior has much more to lose, namely the respect of students which would impair his ability to perform his duties. If the woman is for example, a janitor, that wouldn't be true. That doesn't mean she wasn't punished, but a teacher would be held to a different standard because of the position.

It is disgusting to see how that story has been used as an example of rape when it is nothing of the sort and the police/RCMP certainly didn't see it as as rape at all. Btw, mother's are free to list anyone they want as the father when filling out birth certificate forms. If that happens, the putative father needs to show up in family court (with attorney) when preliminary support order is first being determined.
