It sounds horrible and it's exactly the reason why I did it. It's about getting out of my comfort zone. Agreed, I take this as a challenge, a way to go out from my comfort zone.

That's a very good remark (also thanks to /u/JudgeDoom69 ), let's see: We are still DB but one thing I know is: she is very good mother. Honestly, when she comes back from works tired as fuck, she always takes time for them. So I want her to be close to her children. But I also want to be close to them. Another reason is: she starts to work early and she can come back very late (like today). I prefer to be around on some evening to take care of my children. Financially speaking, I love the idea …

Accountability from previous OYS Be clear with my wife that I don’t want to buy a house with her at the present time See a family attorney So few days after my last OYS I sat with my wife and I was clear that I don’t want to buy a house with her (just this, no DEER involved). She’s start ranting about I don’t talk so much anymore, I ignored her. I didn’t reply (STFU) and redirect the conversation. She told me how she is tired and she is thinking about moving job. I try to lead by proposing to st…

You misunderstand my meaning. Why are you making something you want conditional on your relationship status? Would you buy the house if you were single, no kids, no wife? If so, why not now? If i was single, no kids no wife I will buy a small flat and I will be perfectly happy. If you're worried about divorce rape, then perhaps you're letting your fear control you. [...] Regarding the last point, you have a third option you know. You can do it. You can become the Masculine Father + Feminine Moth…

Put anything with a long term commitment on hold (house). It is a statement in itself. By you own admission you "are clueless". That is a choice since the info is available. Yes, I put on hold the house search. My problem was how to express it without DEERing But I realize this is just my "no-action-only-speak-and-read" mindset, no need to ask, just say it.

Have you met with attorney's to determine exactly what divorce would look like, both financially and relative to custody. Could you arrange for court ordered seizure of the children's passports? No, need to be done. I've a list of recommended family attorney by some friends but I've just realized they are all females. how much does she have to fear in losing you and vica versa. That the interesting question, i don't known. When I start reading NMMNG 1 year and half, we had a brief fight when she…

with her I don't understand this. Do you or do you not want to buy this house? If you want to buy the house, buy it. If you don't, don't. She comes along for the ride. With her and my children yes. If separation no. That's because you avoid confrontation and don't seek discomfort. More importantly, you haven't internalized WISNIFG. Deida's way out of your league. At this rate, your children will repeat one of two patterns: Weak father + strong mother or absent father + strong mother. Which of th…

As I said in my other replies, I'm afraid of losing my children for the other side of the world.

If the children were not there, I would have quit a long time ago. But I'm too afraid to lose the children. In David Deida book I found a chapter how children are repeating parent patterns. If I leave I will let my children with only their mother with no father. That would never forbid myself about it.

I would first say cowardly that this is for the children. My wife can go back in her country (in the other side of the world) with them, and I don't want to lose them. If I leave I will let my children with only their mother with no father. That would never forbid myself about it. I don't know if she will lea…

I didn’t post since one year. I will start with my history then my OYS to conclude with a question. History Background: Early 40 me and her, married 8y ago, DB since 5y (live in the guest room since 2y), 2 childs. Huge faggot during all my life. Parents divorced when I was 10, living with my mother until 20yo. I don’t have bad memory of my mother but people told me that she was not the most pleasant woman to live. My father was never a man, took him 10 year to pass this divorce. Meet my wife in …

I would recommend to start with "how to win friends and win influence" by Dale Carnegie. "The charisma myth" after this.

You cried in front of her? Oh my zombie jesus. Men cry, alone where no one can know. Yes, I have take charge of this recently, thanks to my recent clear mind during exchange with her (don't know if this is sport, keto and/or meditation which helps me about it), so I can have discussion without becoming emotional. She knows she is in control as well. i.e. she had understand that if she wants something, she uses this path. But let's be honest, she came to this solution because of my shitty attitud…

Dude, it's time for WISNIFG from the sidebar. I'm reading it right now, and already have better talk with her (meditation + keto also help to have clear mind). She's testing you hard man This discussion leads me to understand this is her response mechanism to control me (the "I don't think we can't live together" is regular since the beginning of our relation, and every time i bent).
