1	After reading "Why Does he do That?" by Lundy Bancroft, I have started noticing how often abusive strategies are used by dominant classes (men, whites, ultra-wealthy) to maintain power, and preserve their ability to use and control others. Relationshit! You said it, Sister...this book completely changed my perspective on the so widely accepted addiction/codependency model used to explain away the emotional and psychological abuse I’ve been dealing with from my addicted spouse for years...Although I haven’t been able to get out, I can’t “unsee” it now. The book is an easy read, but can be triggering so self-care is needed, and discretion. I’m so glad you found this book and were able to escape!
