You hit the nail on the head. Most women just care that the man is taller. Also for the women who are so tunnel-visioned on 6'+ men, you'd probably wouldn't want to date their superficial ass anyway. I know of many 5'7-ish men who have great success with women because they possess the dozens of other qualities that women care about.

Yes, I was talking about a relationship with a woman. They take time and resources, but can potentially be rewarding. You shouldn't feel pressured to be in one. Men can do just fine on their own. But there is merit in loving someone and being loved back. I used the example of a pet to make it easier to understand.

A good relationship can help you develop social skills like communication and conflict resolution. You can learn these without being in a relationship, but it'll take much longer, imo. I consider my emotional growth to be somewhat stunted until I got into my first relationship in my 20s. Of course, there's also the whole happiness thing that I don't think is a meaningless benefit.

Or... don't chase after dumb thots that fall for lines. Of course being "nice, honorable, virtuous, and supportive" is not going to work if you don't look for women who value these traits. That being said, the major misconception is that the above traits is enough, when in reality, they're just the minimum. Yes, the most famous cases, since those are the ones that involve unjustified killings. I don't care as much about female cops shooting people if it's justified. Maybe male cops are more likely to safely resolve such situations without firing their weapon (I didn't read the study you referenced) even if they would be justified in doing so. The latter is better, of course, but such an issue does not rank very high on Things That Are Wrong With America.
