1	5 Exercises for better eye contact Whenever I'm talking to someone, I'll look at them at the beginning and end of my sentence/statement. Looking away while talking is normal, and looking at them (most of the time) while they're talking shows that you're paying attention...at least they hope that you are. 1	What is the first thing you say to a girl you are attracted to after you introduce yourself? +1 for the humour...I try to talk about the situation that we're both in, and go from there. The key is to listen to what she says, then asking probing (pun intended) questions. You're building a foundation, one conversation at a time. Make sure that it's a solid one.
