| 8 | The start of a conversationI agree with this statement if one has made a solid, deep connection with the girl leading up to the exchanging of numbers. On the other hand, many instances have given me limited time constraints in which i am able to make a connection with the girl, (ie shes on her way to work, or vice versa) then the OP's situation arises, where the guy needs to maintain a light conversation going to make sure the connection does not 'decay'.
